ABOUT US

The Faculty of Education of “Aleksandër Moisiu” University Durrës, in cooperation with international partners: La Sapienza- Universita Di Roma,  Uniroma Centro di Ricerca Cooperazione con l’Eurasia, il Mediterraneo e l’Africa Sub-sahariana,  University of Richmond, Virginia, Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra (UKF), Faculty of Arts, Department of Romance and German Studies,FLIDH – Luso-Illyrian Foundation for Human Development is going to organize the 7-th  International Conference “Innovations and Perspectives of Contemporary Education” to be hosted in Durrës, on 24 May, 2024.

The main aim of the conference is to provide space for researchers and practitioners to address, discuss and propose possible solutions to the most tangible and immediate issues in Albanian education and highlight the indisputable role of the Faculties of Education, as the engine of change, innovation and evolution in education.

Based on its two basic perspectives, “Aleksandër Moisiu” University, The Faculty of Education is inviting professionals, researchers, professors, and academics, across the country and beyond, with the purpose of providing their original contribution in the field of education.

A special session for the students of Education Faculties will be hosted in this conference.

Important dates

1 March, 2024: Abstract submission deadline (by topic sessions) 

28 March, 2024: Conference program for each session

3 May, 2024:  The deadline for the submission of the conference papers

24 May, 2024: Conference Day

Steps for article presentation

  1. Select the session you find most appropriate to participate in;
  2. Send the abstract at conferencefe@uamd.edu.al by specifying the selected session;
  3. Expect abstract received confirmation. The ones who do not receive confirmation
    within 5 days, should contact the conference secretariat;
  4. Presentation of research contribution in the conference day.

Abstract submission

  • Title of the Article: 12 points Times New Roman, bold, centered.
  • Author‘s name: Author’s full name (authors), status, institution, and e-mail address
    for each of the authors (12 points Times New Roman).
  • Content: The abstract should be 150-250 words and present the research objectives
    and methodology, results, and recommendations (12 points, Times New Roman,
    Justified, Single-space). The abstract should not contain tables and graphics
  • Keywords: 3-6 words (12 points, Times New Roman, Italic)
  • Format: The abstract must be submitted in Microsoft Word format (97-2003
    document)

Conference Materials

The proceedings of the conference will be published electronically in a “Proceedings book” with ISBN, also in a Special Edition of Interdisciplinary Journal of Research and Development IJRD ISSN: 2410-3411 E-ISSN:2313-058X, At the end of the presentation, the participants will receive a participation certificate.
