As part of the International Week 2026 at Aleksandër Moisiu University of Durrës (UAMD), the BECEE Project organized an interactive storytelling session that brought together students, trainers, and guest speakers to explore the role of entrepreneurship, innovation, and collaboration in addressing real-world challenges.
Held during the second day of International Week, the activity aimed to introduce students to the BECEE framework and its mission of strengthening entrepreneurial ecosystems within higher education. Through inspiring discussions and practical examples, participants were encouraged to understand how knowledge can be transformed into action through innovation, entrepreneurial thinking, and cooperation with regional stakeholders.

The session highlighted the importance of connecting academic learning with practical challenges and demonstrated how universities can play a key role in fostering innovation-driven solutions that contribute to regional and societal development. Students had the opportunity to engage directly with trainers and guest speakers, gaining valuable insights into entrepreneurship, innovation processes, and collaboration between academia and external ecosystems.
A total of 48 students participated in the activity, reflecting a strong interest in entrepreneurial learning and innovation-related opportunities. The interactive format encouraged active dialogue, allowing participants to ask questions, exchange ideas, and better understand how entrepreneurial competencies can be applied in different professional and social contexts.
The primary objective of the session was to raise awareness of entrepreneurship and innovation among students, while encouraging them to become active contributors to a sustainable and innovation-oriented ecosystem. By showcasing practical experiences and real examples, the activity helped participants recognize the importance of creativity, problem-solving, collaboration, and initiative in driving positive change.
Feedback received from participants was highly positive. Students appreciated the opportunity to learn more about the BECEE Project, interact with trainers and guest speakers, and gain a clearer understanding of how innovation and entrepreneurship can be translated into practice. Many participants highlighted the value of hearing real experiences and exploring new ways of applying their academic knowledge beyond the classroom.
The activity generated a strong impact by increasing the visibility of the BECEE Project at UAMD and strengthening the connection between higher education, entrepreneurship, and regional development. It also promoted a practical understanding of innovation-driven collaboration and encouraged students to actively engage in future entrepreneurial and innovation-related initiatives.
Through activities such as this, the BECEE Project continues to support the development of entrepreneurial mindsets, innovation capacities, and collaborative networks among students, helping prepare the next generation of innovators, professionals, and change-makers.
The BECEE Project is supported by the EIT Higher Education Initiative and EIT Food, funded by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), a body of the European Union.
