As part of the vibrant activities of International Week 2026 at Aleksandër Moisiu University of Durrës (UAMD), 27 April 2026, the BECEE team successfully organized the “Meet the Trainers” session, providing students with an inspiring opportunity to learn more about entrepreneurship, innovation, and the opportunities offered through the BECEE Project.
The event brought together students, trainers, and project representatives in an interactive environment designed to encourage dialogue, knowledge exchange, and active participation. Through dedicated presentations and discussions, participants were introduced to the vision, objectives, and expected impact of the BECEE Project, which aims to strengthen entrepreneurial ecosystems within higher education institutions and foster stronger connections between academia, industry, and society.
During the session, students gained insights into the importance of entrepreneurial thinking, innovation-driven problem solving, and collaboration across disciplines. The trainers shared experiences, methodologies, and practical approaches that support the development of entrepreneurial competencies and empower students to transform ideas into meaningful initiatives with social and economic impact.

The activity highlighted the role of higher education institutions in nurturing future innovators and entrepreneurs while promoting a culture of creativity, collaboration, and lifelong learning. Students were encouraged to view entrepreneurship not only as a business opportunity but also as a mindset that can be applied to addressing societal challenges and creating sustainable solutions.
Beyond presenting the project framework, the session served as a platform for meaningful interaction between students and trainers, allowing participants to ask questions, share perspectives, and explore potential pathways for involvement in future BECEE activities. This exchange contributed to a deeper understanding of how entrepreneurial skills can support personal development, employability, and innovation capacity.
Through initiatives such as “Meet the Trainers,” the BECEE Project continues to engage students as active stakeholders in building more dynamic, inclusive, and innovation-oriented regional ecosystems. The activity also reinforced the importance of international collaboration and knowledge sharing in preparing students to thrive in an increasingly interconnected and rapidly evolving world.
The BECEE team at UAMD extends its sincere appreciation to all trainers, students, and participants who contributed to the success of this session and helped make International Week an enriching experience for the university community.
The BECEE Project is supported by the EIT Higher Education Initiative and EIT Food, funded by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), a body of the European Union.
