Program Description
The second cycle Master of Science study program in “Applied Computer Science” offers a complete professional and academic curriculum. This study program combines the main academic fields with current practices and technologies. The study program is designed and implemented based on the best experience of national and international universities, as well as on the best practices defined in the framework of the Bologna Process. In addition to the professional side, students have the opportunity to further specialize in planning and designing their scientific future. Students who graduate in Master of Science, are prepared to continue their careers in a wide range of specialties in the field of Programming and Application Implementation, among which the most important ones are: Programming Languages (C, C++, JAVA); Web Development and Management (HTML, JavaScript, PHP, XML); Multimedia Systems; Database Creation, Management and Administration; Software Development; Management Information Systems (MIS). They also have very good opportunities to continue their doctoral studies in the direction they desire.
Program purpose
The main goal of this study program is to prepare students at a scientific level with new knowledge in: programming, application implementation, communication, database management, software development, website development, etc. Students should choose this field of study, as it is a developing branch and offers good employment opportunities. This curriculum also serves as an impetus to guide students towards certifications in this field. Students have the opportunity to continue doctoral studies and scientific research.
