The Department of Statistics and Applied Informatics at the Faculty of Business, "Aleksandër Moisiu" University of Durrës, is an academic unit dedicated to the development of interdisciplinary competencies in the fields of statistics and applied informatics in economics.
The “Bachelor in Economic Informatics” study program offers a balanced approach between theoretical and practical training to equip students with skills in analyzing and solving problems related to technology and economics. The department is comprised of a qualified staff of seven members, who hold degrees and expertise in fields such as statistics, econometrics, research methods, and information technologies. This expertise guarantees a comprehensive preparation for students, covering important topics such as economic analysis, database management, and e-business application development.
At the end of their studies, graduates are prepared to contribute to various public and private sectors, applying their knowledge in the development and implementation of modern economic informatics strategies.

He completed his Bachelor and First Level Master's studies in Agribusiness at the Agricultural University of Tirana (2007) and his Second Level Master's in Agri-Food Marketing at the Mediterranean Agronomic Institute in Zaragoza, Spain (2008). He completed his PhD at the "Aleksandër Moisiu" University, Faculty of Business (2009-2014).
Since 2007, she has been an in-house lecturer in the Department of Marketing at UAMD, where she lectures on subjects such as “Scientific Research Methods” and “History of Economic Thought.” In 2015, she received the title of “Associate Professor.”
Marsida Abdul graduated in Economics from the University of Tirana. Since 2013, she has coordinated the SME Management and Hospitality-Tourism programs at the Faculty of Integrated Studies with Practice at UAMD, also serving as a lecturer. She has actively participated in scientific conferences and youth entrepreneurship events, such as Techstars StartUp Weekend and Startup Grind Tirana. Since January 2022, she has been a full-time lecturer at the Department of Statistics and Applied Informatics of the Faculty of Business at UAMD, where she is pursuing her doctoral studies. She is committed to motivating and developing young people.
Dr. Agim Ndregjoni has been a lecturer at the Department of Economic Sciences at the “Aleksandër Moisiu” University, Durrës, since February 2009. He holds a degree in Economics and a Master in Business Administration from the University of Tirana, as well as a PhD in Economic Sciences. He is also a Chartered Accountant approved by the Ministry of Finance.
He has experience as a project manager in the private sector and has presented scientific papers in national and international conferences and journals. His research areas include market analysis and regional and national economic instabilities.
