Internal Quality Assurance Unit

About IQAU

Internal quality assurance is a legal obligation of higher education institutions, which are responsible for developing policies and procedures for quality assurance. This system is established by higher education institutions and operates through the internal quality assurance unit. The structure and functions of this unit are defined in the statute of higher education institutions.

The IQAU drafts standards for internal quality assurance in accordance with the Quality Code. The unit conducts periodic assessments of teaching and scientific research activities. An integral task of this unit is also the completion of a student questionnaire at the end of each semester, on the quality of teaching for the subjects of each program offered by the HEI.
