Program Description

The Master of Science "Marketing Management" is part of the Second Cycle of Studies in the academic structure of the Department of Marketing, at the Faculty of Business, of the "Aleksandër Moisiu" University, Durrës.

The Master of Science "Marketing Management" is a program with a normal duration of two full-time academic years and no less than 120 European credits (ECTS), which undertakes to offer in-depth studies in various fields of Marketing.

The study program is organized based on the curriculum and evaluated in credits according to the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS). The amount of credits accumulated over two years by a student is 120 credits.

The Master of Science in Marketing Management study program aims to prepare marketing specialists to analyze and evaluate various situations of phenomena and events in the field of business and their management. The Master of Science in Marketing Management is offered in accordance with the mission and goals of the “Aleksandër Moisiu” University, Durrës, as well as the Faculty of Business as the main unit of this public HEI. The study program also complies with the HEI’s development strategy. The study program aims to provide basic knowledge on general scientific methods and principles and certain skills in a wide variety of professions and specialties.

The Master of Science in "Marketing Management" provides students with all the necessary information regarding regulations, development strategy, admission criteria, curriculum and programs, assessment rules, internship development rules, thesis defense rules, and tuition fees.

It respects all professional, scientific and pedagogical criteria for teaching, practice, research, and assessment. This program encourages students to participate in faculty and university activities.

The main objectives of the program:

  1. To be trained in selecting appropriate techniques for media management.
  2. Develop the ability to develop marketing campaigns.
  3. Learn how to systematically examine various topics based on strong theoretical foundations.
  4. To prepare professionals in the field of marketing management, in the selection of marketing alternatives and the best ways to manage them.
  5. Develop the ability to build and evaluate economic and marketing reports.
  6. To become familiar with and trained in the marketing system at the international level.
  7. To prepare professionals in the field of quantitative and qualitative research and the knowledge of models for their evaluation.

The Master of Science program in “Marketing Management” develops a series of skills, such as practical, managerial and communicative, with the aim of marketing management in private or public companies. The knowledge acquired is of a characteristic formation in the field of marketing management. At the end of the program, the student gains knowledge and skills to be employed as: marketing manager or leader in the private and public sector, sales management specialist, marketing management specialist, communication specialist, media management specialist, public relations office specialist, product manager, opportunities to develop advanced studies in this field, etc.
