Open call – STARS EU Lecture Series

"Aleksandër Moisiu" University in cooperation with partner universities of the STARS EU Alliance opens a call for academic staff to participate in the 'Ciklin e Leksioneve  STARS EU’.

Since last November, UAMD is now part of the alliance for a European university STARS EU (Strategic Alliance for Regional Transitions) in which 8 other European universities participate as follows.

1. Hanseatic University of Applied Sciences, Netherlands;
2. Bremen University of Applied Sciences, Germany;
3. West University, Sweden;
4. La Laguna University, Spain;
5. Polytechnic University of Braganca, Portugal;
6. Silesian University in Opava, Czech Republic;
7. Franche-Comte University, France;
8. Krakow University of Technology, Poland;
9. "Aleksandër Moisiu" University of Durres.

The goal of this alliance is to become a model European university by implementing a long-term vision for the transformation of institutional cooperation between partner higher education institutions and by deepening this cooperation and taking it to the next level.

With the aim of further increasing cooperation and interaction between academic staff, researchers and students among these 9 universities as well as the development and integration of the regions included in the alliance, a call for submission of a proposal for participation in the STARS EU Lecture Series for the first semester of the academic year 2023-2024 is open for academic staff.

The call addresses the areas of TIGs (Thematic Interest Groups) at universities, part of STARS EU, which, within the framework of the subject they teach, have the opportunity to extend the teaching of 1-2 topics of the existing course to the community of academic staff and students of the alliance's partner universities.  

The areas of Thematic Interest Groups (TIGs) are:

• Arts and Creative Industries;
• Digital Transformation;
• (Entrepreneurship and Innovation);
• Energy Transition;
• Healthy Aging;
• Circular Economy
• Living Spaces;

 

The participation format is physical, digital, and hybrid.
