Program Description

Professional Master's Program in "School and Developmental Psychology" with 120 credits (etc.)
extends over two academic years. This master's degree trains students with more in-depth knowledge in the field of
psychology, mainly in school psychology and the field of education as a whole, orienting them
thus towards the job market as professional psychologists in educational institutions.
The main formative objectives of the study program "School and Developmental Psychology"
are:
• To prepare specialists with skills, knowledge and professional behavior for practice in
psychological assessment and intervention, in the system of education and psychological care
social welfare of children and adolescents;
• To prepare students with in-depth knowledge of individual differences, abilities, and
special needs, school curriculum and teaching strategies, as well as on
the influence of biological, cultural, social, ethnic, socio-economic, gender, and
linguistic aspects in the development and learning processes of children.
• To prepare students with the skills to use psychosocial techniques and interventions
in children and adolescents.

 

The knowledge gained in this program equips students with a range of psychological, sociological, pedagogical, and practical skills.
