Project STAND

Within the framework of the STAND project which aims to strengthen university autonomy and increase
of accountability and transparency of Western Balkan Universities, at the University of
Southeast Europe, where "Aleksandër Moisiu" University is a partner, on May 22 - 23
a two-day workshop on the autonomy and institutional empowerment of
universities.
UAMD was represented by Dr. Viorela Polena and Ms. Ariola Harizi.
Some of the Workshop topics included:
– Decentralized research structures and projects.
– Supporting startups at the Hamburg University of Technology.
– Providing services for university scientific research and its connection with society.
This project aims to improve the processes and mechanisms of university autonomy by
increase the management capacities, accountability and transparency of Balkan Universities
Western.
