The Secretariat, within the framework of the Internship Program, has announced the opening of the Internship in Tirana.
Target group of applicants and requirements:
If you are interested in regional cooperation and development and want to expand your knowledge your interests in the region, you are ready to work in an international multicultural environment, we invite you to apply for the WBF internship program!
a) Be citizens of one of the Contracting Parties (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia or Serbia) b) Must hold or be enrolled in at least a bachelor's degree program first related to practice. c) Speak English fluently. d) Be 25 years old or younger. e) Commitment and passion for regional cooperation and development. f) Have good academic credentials and knowledge of the region. g) Demonstrate willingness and readiness to work in an international, multicultural environment.
Areas of professional development during the internship:
A. Grants Management; B. Public Relations and Communication; C. Monitoring/Evaluation and Learning.
While part of the WBF Secretariat, interns will have the opportunity to increase their knowledge their work in cross-cutting areas, but not limited to: reconciliation, good neighborly relations, gender equality, youth empowerment, cross-border cooperation, European integration. At the end of the internship program, each intern will be awarded a Certificate.
Logistics and Expense Coverage:
– WBF will cover transportation costs from Tirana for selected interns; – WBF will provide the intern with accommodation in Tirana during their stay; – Interns will be provided with a reimbursement for their expenses.

Expected start of the internship: June 2, 2024 Duration and location of the internship: The duration of the internship is 2 weeks and will take place at the WBF headquarters, Tirana.
