Dr. Rovena Troplini Vangjel has been the Head of the Department of Finance and Accounting (UAMD) since September 2020. She has been a lecturer at UAMD since 2009. She holds a PhD in Economic Sciences since 2016 from UAMD. Her field of study is financial development and economic growth. During this time, she has held various administrative positions, such as Head of the Finance course group and Coordinator of the BSc Banking and Finance study program for at least two years.
She has lectured several courses in the Bachelor and Master study programs, including 'Financial Markets and Institutions' and 'Risk Management'. Dr. Vangjel is also a part-time lecturer at UBT. She is a co-author and scientific editor of books, a reviewer for indexed journals, and the author of over a dozen publications in esteemed journals and at international conference proceedings. Additionally, she has held positions as Project Manager and expert in various projects. She is a member of the Executive Committee and the Scientific Committee of ISBF 11-13 at UAMD, a Messenger of ASUE, a member of the ITEMA conference, and a member of COST.
Shkëlqim Fortuzi has been a Professor at the Department of Finance and Accounting since 2013 and has been the Dean of the Faculty of Business at the 'Aleksandër Moisiu' University of Durrës since 2020.
His research is in the field of Cost Accounting, Managerial Accounting, and Taxation.
His specific research focuses on the analysis of the cost of finished products and semi-finished products at all stages, based on the traditional system and the ABC system.
His research also focuses on calculating the break-even point, cost-volume-profit analysis, for each good or product based on specific activities.
An important element of the research is also the planning system, according to the plan-implementation-control-action scheme.
He is the author of a monograph in Germany, the author of two books (Cost and Management Accounting, Taxation), and more than 35 articles and various scientific publications, both national and international, of which 14 have impact factors.
He has participated in teaching outside of Albania, in countries such as Kosovo, North Macedonia, and as a visiting lecturer within the Erasmus program at the University of Lublin, Poland. His published articles and conference papers address issues in the fields of fiscal policies, informality, tax performance in Albania, problems in the banking sector, public and personal finance, and more.
Shqipe Xhaferri has been a lecturer since 2008 in the Department of Finance and Accounting at “Aleksandër Moisiu” University. Her field of study and specialization is in Accounting. She was awarded the academic title of Associate Professor, Ph.D. in 2022.
She graduated from the Agricultural University of Tirana with an Integrated Second-Level Degree in Agrarian Economics (1993). She completed a Scientific Master's Degree in Business Management and Agribusiness at the Agricultural University of Tirana (2006) and earned her Doctorate in Economic Sciences from the University of Durrës (2015).
Shqipe Xhaferri is the author and co-author of over a dozen publications in scientific journals and regional, national, and international conferences, primarily focused on the fields of accounting and finance.
Jonida Lamçja Methasani has been a lecturer since 2012 in the Department of Finance and Accounting at “Aleksandër Moisiu” University. Her field of study and specialization is in Banking and Finance. She began her doctoral studies in 2021 at the Faculty of Business, UAMD. Her teaching focuses on the subjects "Insurance Companies," "Financial Basics," and "Financial Management."
She graduated from Aleksandër Xhuvani University with an Integrated Second-Level Degree in Finance and Accounting (2010). She completed a Scientific Master's Degree in Banking and Finance at Aleksandër Moisiu University (2013).
Jonida Lamçja Methasani is the author and co-author of publications in regional, national, and international articles and conferences. Her work addresses issues in the fields of finance, insurance, and the banking sector.
Prof. Asoc. Dr. Bitila Shosha has been a lecturer at the Department of Finance and Accounting, Faculty of Business, at Aleksandër Moisiu University, Durrës, since 2009. She was awarded the academic title of Associate Professor, Ph.D., in June 2023. In December 2014, she earned her Doctorate in Economic Sciences in the field of Banking and Finance at the same university. Prof. Shosha holds a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Finance and a Scientific Master's Degree in Economics from the Agricultural University of Tirana.
From 2005 to 2009, Prof. Asoc. Dr. Bitila Shosha held the position of Head Accountant at the General Directorate of Local Taxation, Municipality of Tirana. Since 2018, alongside her role as a lecturer, she has also held two significant positions in the Department of Finance and Accounting: Coordinator of Scientific Research and Coordinator of the "Professional Master's in Banking and Finance" program. Prof. Shosha is a dedicated lecturer with over 10 years of experience teaching courses such as Accounting Fundamentals, Investments, Business Analysis, and Evaluation.
Prof. Asoc. Dr. Bitila Shosha is the co-author of a comprehensive lecture series on "Investments". She is also the author and co-author of numerous publications in regional, national, and international scientific journals and conferences. Additionally, she has actively participated in scientific events and publications as a member of scientific committees, editorial boards, and as a mentor in scientific conferences, further demonstrating her commitment to academic and professional excellence.
MSc. Selma Kaçaniku has been a lecturer in the Department of Finance and Accounting at Aleksandër Moisiu University, Durrës, since 2015. She began her doctoral studies in 2021 at the Faculty of Business, UAMD. Additionally, she has been a part-time lecturer at the Faculty of Economics in Elbasan since 2013. Her expertise covers the fields of Accounting, Finance, and Banking. MSc. Kaçaniku graduated from Aleksandër Moisiu University with a Bachelor's Degree in Banking and Finance (2011) and a Scientific Master's Degree in Banking and Finance (2013).
MSc. Selma Kaçaniku is the author and co-author of over a dozen publications in scientific journals with impact factors and indexed by Scopus, as well as in regional, national, and international conferences. Her research primarily focuses on the fields of accounting and finance.
Dr. Armela Anamali has been a lecturer in the Department of Finance and Accounting at Aleksandër Moisiu University, Durrës, since 2009. She earned her Doctorate in Economic Sciences from the same university in April 2015. In her earlier academic formation, Dr. Anamali obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Finance and a Scientific Master's Degree in Financial Management from the University of Tirana.
During her years at Aleksandër Moisiu University, Dr. Armela Anamali has held various roles, including: Member of the Ethics Council. Evaluator for Internal Assessment of study programs, departments, and faculties. Member of Committees for the recruitment of academic staff. Since 2018, she has served as the Coordinator of the Master of Science in Finance and Accounting program. Dr. Anamali has taught several courses over the years, including Accounting Fundamentals, Financial Accounting, and National Accounting Standards, among others.
Dr. Armela Anamali is the co-author of the exercise book "Principles of Accounting" and the lecture series "Investments". She is also the author and co-author of several publications in scientific journals and regional, national, and international conferences.
Dr. Juliana Imeraj has been a lecturer since 2013 in the Department of Finance and Accounting at Aleksandër Moisiu University. Her field of study and specialization is in Banking and Finance.
She graduated from the Faculty of Economics, University of Tirana, with a degree in Finance and Accounting (2005). She completed a Scientific Master's Degree in European Economic Studies at the University of Tirana (2007) and earned the title of Doctor of Economic Sciences from Aleksandër Moisiu University, Durrës (2016).
She was certified with the title of "Certified Accountant" in 2010.
She has 9 years of experience in the banking system, with a focus on the field of credit.
She is the author of the lecture series "Bank Management" and co-author of the lecture series "Financial Markets and Institutions." She is also the author and co-author of over a dozen publications in scientific journals and regional, national, and international conferences.
Dr. Ada Aliaj has been a lecturer in the Department of Finance and Accounting at Aleksandër Moisiu University, Durrës, since 2009. She also served as the Head of the Department from 2012 to 2020. Her expertise covers the fields of Finance and Banking.
She graduated from the Faculty of Economics, University of Tirana, with a degree in Finance (2007). She completed a Master's Degree in Accounting and Auditing at the same faculty (2010) and earned the title of Doctor of Economic Sciences in 2014.
Previously, Dr. Ada Aliaj held the position of Branch Director at NBG Bank, Shkozet-Durrës (2007-2009). She is the author and co-author of over a dozen publications in scientific journals and regional, national, and international conferences. Since 2022, Dr. Ada Aliaj has served as the Chair of the Board for Aleksandër Moisiu University.
Ikbale Tota has been a lecturer since 2012 in the Department of Finance and Accounting at Aleksandër Moisiu University. Her field of study and specialization is in Accounting.
She graduated from the Agricultural University of Tirana with an Integrated Second-Level Degree in Economics and Agribusiness (2009). She completed a Scientific Master's Degree in Financial Management at the same university (2012) and earned her Doctorate in Accounting from the Agricultural University of Tirana in 2018.
She was certified as an "Internal Auditor in the Public Sector" in 2010 and as a "Consultant in Taxation and Customs" in 2012.
Ikbale Tota is the author and co-author of over a dozen publications in scientific journals and regional, national, and international conferences, primarily focused on the fields of accounting and finance.
Docent Dr. Hysen Hoda has been a lecturer in the Department of Finance and Accounting at Aleksandër Moisiu University, Durrës, since 2010, when he was awarded the title of Docent at the Faculty of Business. He has led the Department of Finance and Accounting since its establishment, playing a key role in designing the curricula for several Bachelor’s and Master’s (Scientific and Professional) programs within the department. Additionally, he has been part of the working group responsible for drafting the Doctoral Program at the Faculty of Business.
His research focuses on Financial Accounting, Accounting Information Systems, and Accounting Standards. Specifically, his work is centered on the analysis of national and international accounting standards.
He is the author of the book "Accounting: Exercises and Practice" and co-author of the book "Principles of Accounting". Additionally, he has published over 20 scientific articles and papers in national and international journals and conferences, including in Austria, Italy, Romania, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Hungary, and others.
He has participated as a guest lecturer under the Erasmus program at the University of Latvia. He earned the title of Doctor in 2015 in the field of Accounting Information Systems at Aleksandër Moisiu University, Durrës.
He graduated from the University of Tirana, Faculty of Economics, in the Commerce Department in 1987.
From 2003 to October 2008, he served as the Chancellor of the University of Tirana. Since November 2008, he has been a lecturer in the Department of Finance and Accounting at the Faculty of Business, Aleksandër Moisiu University, Durrës. From 1987 to 2003, he worked as a Finance and Accounting Manager in various local and national enterprises, including sectors such as trade, transportation, and energy.
Ph.D.(c). Ejona Duçi is a lecturer at Aleksandër Moisiu University, Durrës, in the Department of Finance and Accounting. Her research focuses on Accounting, and she is currently pursuing her Doctorate at the University of National and World Economy (UNWE) in Bulgaria.
She teaches various courses, including Accounting Fundamentals, Accounting, Financing and Control of SMEs, and Financial Basics.
She graduated with a Gold Medal in both study cycles: Bachelor's Degree in Finance and Banking (2010) and a Scientific Master's Degree in Business Administration (2012).
She is currently completing her doctoral studies with highest distinctions in the Department of Accounting and Analysis at the University of National and World Economy (UNWE).”, Sofie, Bullgari.

Ph.D. Enida Istrefi has been a lecturer in the Department of Finance and Accounting at Aleksandër Moisiu University, Durrës, since 2015. She earned her academic title of Doctor in 2023 at the University of National and World Economy (UNWE), Bulgaria. Her specialization is in the field of Finance and Banking. She teaches various courses, including Financial Basics, Financial Management, Intermediate Financial Management, and Banking and Financial Systems of the EU. Enida Istrefi graduated from Aleksandër Moisiu University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Banking and Finance (2012) and a Scientific Master’s Degree in Banking and Finance (2014). Since 2019, she has been pursuing her doctoral studies at the University of National and World Economy, Sofia, Bulgaria.

She teaches various courses, including Accounting Fundamentals, Financial Accounting, Bank Accounting, and Accounting for Financial Institutions.
Dr. Jonada Mamo graduated from Aleksandër Moisiu University, Durrës, with a degree in Business Administration (2010) and a Scientific Master's Degree in Banking and Finance (2012). She earned the title of Doctor of Sciences in Finance and Accounting from the Agricultural University of Tirana in 2018.
Previously, Dr. Jonada Mamo held the position of Economist in an accounting firm for several years. In the 2015 local elections, she was elected as a member of the Durrës Municipal Council and served as a member of the Economy Commission for the Durrës Municipality. In 2016, she earned the title of "Certified Accountant", certified by IEKA. Later, in 2018, she graduated from the Albanian School of Political Studies.

Elfrida Taraku has been a full-time lecturer at Aleksandër Moisiu University, Durrës, in the Faculty of Business since 2014, after serving as a part-time lecturer at the same university since 2012. She teaches courses such as Financial Basics, Auditing, and Banking Control. She began her doctoral studies in 2021 at the Faculty of Business, UAMD, with a focus on Finance and Accounting. Elfrida Taraku graduated from the Faculty of Economics, University of Tirana, in Finance (1986) with an Integrated Second-Level Degree.
Previously, Elfrida Taraku held key roles in both public and private sectors. She served as: Head of Finance, Economic Director, and Board Member at the Refrigeration Enterprise, Durrës, until 2000. Head of Finance in a private economic unit. From 2004 to 2013, she worked at the Supreme State Audit Institution in Tirana as an Auditor, Chief Auditor, and Acting Director. She has been certified as an external auditor by several international institutions: Netherlands Court of Audit for "Integrity Audit Methodology" and "Performance Audit Methodology." National Audit Office, London, for "Human Resources Theory and Practice" and "Financial Audit Theory and Practice." Center of Excellence in Finance, Ljubljana, for "Design and Management of Large Taxpayer Offices" and "Introduction and Tax Reform." NIK of Poland for "The Seminar of Performance Auditing" organized by the Polish Supreme Audit Office. SIGMA for "Parallel Auditing of European Union Funds."
Her research focuses on Auditing, including internal and external auditing standards, as well as finance. Dr. Arjeta Hallunovi has been a lecturer since 2010 in the Department of Finance and Accounting at Aleksandër Moisiu University, Durrës. Her field of study and specialization is in Banking and Finance. She focuses on teaching courses such as "Financial Basics," "Financial Management," and "Credit Risk Management." Additionally, she serves as the Coordinator of the Master's program "Science in Insurance Industry and Risk Management."

Dr. Arjeta Hallunovi is the author of several monographs published internationally, co-author of the books "Financial Basics" and "Financial Markets and Institutions", and author of the lecture series "Credit Risk Management." She has authored numerous scientific papers indexed by Impact Factor and Thomson Reuters and has participated in scientific conferences in Italy, Montenegro, Hungary, the UK, Germany, Singapore, France, Canada, Poland, and other countries.
She has participated in numerous Erasmus+ Teaching Mobilities as part of exchange programs with various universities. Additionally, she has been involved in several Summer Schools, trainings, and forums in Italy, Canada, France, Spain, Romania, Serbia, and other countries.
She is also a member of the editorial board of several international journals, including The Educational Review-USA, Journal of Finance and Accounting-USA, Academic Journal of Accounting and Finance, and Journal of Applied Mathematics and Computation-USA. Additionally, she serves as a scientific collaborator at the Institute for Scientific Research and Development in Montenegro and is a member of UdECom Balkan.
Dr. Arjeta Hallunovi has been a member of the Programme Committee, editor of the Book of Abstracts, and a moderator at the Faculty of Business Conference. She has also organized several activities in the field of Finance, involving experts in the discipline.
Dr. Arjeta Hallunovi is a member of the HISTEK project, part of the Interreg IPA-CBC program, titled "Senior Technical Specialists in Key Learning Technologies (KETs)", where the Faculty of Business is a partner institution.

Prof. As. Dr. Ervin Myftaraj është lektor në Departamentin e Marketingut në Universitetin “Aleksandër Moisiu”, Durrës që nga viti 2008. Ai zotëron një diplomë nga Universiteti i Tiranës (Bachelor në Administrim Biznesi, Profili Marketing), nga Universiteti UMBT (Master Shkencor në Marketing dhe Menaxhim Operacionesh) dhe Universiteti “Aleksandër Moisiu”, Durrës (Doktoratë në Fushën e Marketingut me temë dizertacioni “Sinergjia që krijohet nga ndërveprimi i marketingut të marrëdhënieve me marketingun në internet. Rasti i industrisë bankare shqiptare”). Aktualisht ai mban pozicionin e Përgjegjësit të Departamentit të Marketingut në Fakultetin e Biznesit.
Prof. As. Dr. Myftaraj është autor i më shumë se 50 publikimeve në revista shkencore dhe konferenca rajonale, kombëtare dhe ndërkombëtare, nga të cilët 6 prej tyre me faktor impakti. Prof.As.Elton Noti graduated in “Tourism Business Administration” in 2002, at the Public University “Alexandër”, in Thessaloniki, Greece. In 2007, he successfully completed his Master of Science in “Marketing”, at the University of Tirana, Faculty of Economics. During 2014, he received the “Doctor of Science” degree at the University of Tirana, Faculty of Economics, defending his dissertation in the field of information technology and tourism marketing. Following his scientific research work and academic qualification, during 2016, he received the academic title “Associate Professor”.
Prof.As.Elton Noti has been employed full-time at the “Aleksandër Moisiu” University during 2015, as a lecturer in the subjects Marketing Strategy, International Marketing and Promotion. He is a co-author of the textbook “Integrated Marketing Communication”, published during 2017. Since October 2017, he has also held the position of Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs at the “Aleksandër Moisiu” University, Durrës. Since 2004, he has been engaged in teaching as a part-time lecturer in the fields of marketing and tourism, at the Universities of Tirana, Vlora, etc. He has a professional experience of nearly 13 years in public administration, in the field of tourism. During this time, he has contributed to the drafting of strategic policies for tourism development, the legal framework, and has participated in several projects in collaboration with national and international partners such as: World Tourism Organization, UNDP, GIZ, OSCE, Council of Europe, etc.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Azeta Tartaraj is a full-time lecturer at the Department of Marketing of the Faculty of Business at the "Aleksandër Moisiu" University of Durrës, since 2008 in the subjects Marketing Basics, Marketing Direction, Promotion, Marketing Strategy, Publicity.
Integrated First Level Diploma (1992) and Master of Science at the University of Tirana (2006). Doctorate at UAMD in the field of Marketing with Dissertation Thesis “Territorial Marketing and Social Cohesion”. In 2014, he received the title of Associate Professor. Active participation in dozens of national and international Scientific Conferences, scientific articles, some of which have an impact factor. Prof. Assoc. Dr. Blerim Kola has been a lecturer since 2008 in the Department of Marketing at the Faculty of Business, “Aleksandër Moisiu” University of Durrës, where he covers subjects such as Services Marketing, International Marketing, Advanced Marketing, Marketing Direction, Marketing Basics, Tourism Marketing, Public Goods Marketing, International Business, Price Policy, Sustainable Tourism, Consumer Marketing, etc. He holds the title of Associate Professor since 2016 and has completed the Third Cycle of Doctoral Studies at “Aleksandër Moisiu” University, Faculty of Business, in the field of Marketing with the topic “Marketing of Handicraft Products”. He has also completed the Second Level Integrated Master in Marketing at the Faculty of Economics, University of Tirana in collaboration with the University of Nebraska, USA, as well as DIND in the field of Media Marketing, Department of Journalism, University of Tirana
Previously, Prof. Assoc. Dr. Blerim Kola has completed a series of academic trainings in Budapest and Strasbourg and has also had work experience at the BBC (New Media) in London.

Dr. Edlira Llazo is a lecturer in the Department of Marketing at the “Aleksandër Moisiu” University, Durrës. She holds a degree from the “F.S. Noli” University (Integrated Diploma in Management), from ISSAT (Second Level Master in Finance-Accounting) and “Master of Business Administration, Concentration on Finance-Accounting”, from the “University of Bussines and International Studies”, Geneva and the Agricultural University of Tirana (PhD in Marketing).
Previously, he/she held the position of Specialist at the Savings Bank, Specialist at the Coordination-Development Office at the Prefect's Institution, Durrës.
Dr. Edlira Llazo is the author/author and co-author of several texts such as Marketing Basics, Marketing Direction, and Advanced Marketing and more than 13 publications in international scientific journals in various countries such as Italy, Bulgaria, Poland, Romania, England, USA and more than 15 regional, national and international conferences.

Dr. Eldian Balla is a lecturer in the Department of Marketing at “Aleksandër Moisiu” University, Durrës. He holds a degree from the Agricultural University of Tirana (BSc in Agribusiness), from the University of Tirana (Master of Science in Marketing) and the “Aleksandër Moisiu” University, Durrës (PhD in Marketing).
Previously he held the position of Sales and Marketing Manager at EHW Gmbh. Sales and Marketing Manager at OPEL-NOSHI. Credit Analyst at ProCredit Bank.
Dr. Eldian Balla is the author and co-author of the text Marketing Metrics and Marketing Research; as well as more than 10 publications in scientific journals and regional, national and international conferences. Some of the publications are;

Dr. Violeta NEZA is a lecturer in the Department of Marketing at “Aleksandër Moisiu” University, Durrës. She holds a DND degree from the Faculty of Economics, University of Tirana, from the University of Tirana, Faculty of Economics (Master in AP) and the University of Tirana, Faculty of Economics (PhD in Marketing).
Previously, she held the position of Director at the Durrës Residential Development Center and Head of the Benefits Branch at DRSSH Durrës.
Dr. NEZA is the author and co-author of more than 22 (twenty-two) publications in scientific journals and regional, national and international conferences.

Dr. Ariola Harizi, has completed her higher studies in the field of Management at the Faculty of Integrated Studies with Practice, FASTIP, “Aleksandër Moisiu” University in 2013. In 2015, she received the MSc Degree in the “Executive Management” branch, at Luarasi University, Faculty of Economics, Tirana. In 2017, she is pursuing the Master in Executive Event Management, in Milan, Italy. Since 2021, she holds the title of Doctor of Science, in the field of Marketing, in Slovakia. Her teaching experience dates back to 2016, as a part-time lecturer in the field of marketing and since 2018 as a full-time Lecturer, at the Department of Marketing, at the Faculty of Business, UAMD. She also has 4 years of work experience in public and private administration, in the tax and finance sectors. Covers the fields of Integrated Marketing Communication, Marketing Basics, Digital Marketing. Has a large number of trainings and specializations in the field of Digital Marketing Certified abroad. Active participation in many national and international Scientific Conferences, domestic and foreign projects, publisher of several scientific articles with impact factors and author of several books with international collaborators.
Dr. Vaeld Zhezha is a lecturer in the Department of Marketing at “Aleksandër Moisiu” University, Durrës since 2019. He holds a degree from the Academy of Economic Studies, Bucharest Romania (Bachelor in Business Management, Project Management Profile), from U.F.O University (Postmaster Diploma in Administrative Sciences) and from the Institute of European Studies, University of Tirana (PhD in the Field of Competition with dissertation topic “Competition Policies in the European Union”). He currently holds the position of full-time Lecturer in the Department of Marketing at the Faculty of Business.
Dr. Vaeld Zhezha is the author of many publications in scientific journals and regional, national and international conferences, of which 2 of them have an impact factor. All these publications and references, national and international, such as in: USA, Italy, Hungary, Greece, Romania, Croatia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Kosovo, etc. He is also a co-author in several publications and reprints of academic texts. Dr. Kand. Taulant Kullolli has been a lecturer in the Department of Marketing at "Aleksandër Moisiu" University, Durrës since 2015.
Dr. Kand. Taulant Kullolli completed his Master's studies in 2014, in the Communication in Tourism and International Trade branch, at the Faculty of Business Administration, at the University of Verona, Italy, where he also completed his first cycle studies in 2011 in the Language and Culture for Tourism Administration branch. He is currently pursuing his Doctoral studies at the Aleksandër Moisiu University of Durrës, with the topic entitled "Analysis of price management techniques in the tourism sector". Dr. Kand. Taulant Kullolli has several years of work experience in several prestigious national and international companies in the field of sales (Metro Italia Cash & Carry, Fondazione Arena di Verona, Pascucci Caffè) and has participated in several training programs in the field of communication and administration of ‘corporate governance' in Italy and Germany. He knows Italian, English, Spanish at an advanced level and French and German at an intermediate level.
Dr. Kand. Taulant Kullolli is the author of many national and international scientific papers listed in prestigious journals with Impact Factor and in Scopus. He has also participated in many academic scientific papers and in various national and international conferences.

Dr. (c) . Erjonilda Hasrama is a lecturer at the Department of Marketing at “Aleksandër Moisiu” University, Durrës and teaches courses in Consumer Behavior and Principles of Marketing. She is a reliable, effective and efficient teacher with proven expertise in transferring professional knowledge to students, preparing them competitively for further education and the challenges of life in the 21st century. Erjonilda has in-depth knowledge of all marketing issues; and a professional experience in, e-marketing and public relations in the private sector, non-governmental organizations and the public sector as well. Erjonilda is active in research and has over 10 publications in international conferences and academic journals in the fields of advertising, consumer behavior and e-marketing. In addition, she is pursuing her doctoral studies on the topic: “Increasing OBA Acceptance through Data-Based Advertising: The Impact of User Awareness on Online Privacy. The implication of the case of Albania”. She contributes fully to the University by taking on key roles and serves on University working groups or conference organizing committees as needed. Prof. Dr. Flora Merko është pedagoge full time pranë Departamentit të Shkencave Ekonomike të Universitetit “Aleksandër Moisiu” Durrës, që nga Tetori i vitit 2014 në modulet Mikro e Makroekonomi dhe Ekonomiksi i Tregut të Punës. Është bashkautore në katër tekste mësimore që përdoren nga studentët e sistemit Bachelor dhe Master. Aktualisht mban detyrën e Drejtueses së Departamentit të Shkencave Ekonomike në Fakultetin e Biznesit të Universitetit “Aleksandër Moisiu” Durrës që nga Maji 2015, si dhe nga Qersori 2020, anëtare e Senatit Akademik të UAMD-së.
Ka përfunduar studimet e Larta në Universitetin Bujqësor të Tiranes, Dega Ekonomist në vitin 1994. Ka përfunduar studimet Master Shkencor në vitin 2003 dhe Doktorraturë pranë këtij Universiteti. Prej Shkurtit të Vitit 2008 mban Gradën Shkencore “Doktorr i Shkencave”, dhe prej Prillit 2023, Titullin “Profesor”. Është gjithashtu mbajtese e titullit “Kontabël i Miratuar”, dhe “Auditues i Brendshëm në Sektorin Publik”, lëshuar nga Ministria e Financave.
Punimet e saj shkencore në fushën e ekonomisë i ka prezantuar dhe botuar në një sërë Konferencash dhe Revistash Shkencore, Kombëtare e Ndërkombëtare. Kërkimi shkencor është i fokusuar në fushën e taksave, mirëqeverisjes, ekonomiksit mjedisor, dinamikave të tregjeve të punës, politikave ekonomike në funksion të rritjes së qëndrueshme ekonomike, zhvillimit rajonal etj. Prof. Dr. Mit’hat Mema is a full-time lecturer at the Department of Economic Sciences of the “Aleksandër Moisiu” University of Durrës, since September 2006 in the subjects of Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Environmental Economics, Managerial Economics and Econometrics. He completed his studies at the Agricultural University of Tirana, Finance Department in 1989. He completed his Master of Science studies in 1998 in the field of Environmental Economics and Territorial Regulation at the Mediterranean Agronomic Institute of Zaragoza, Spain. He holds the scientific degree of Doctor in Economic Sciences obtained at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Zaragoza, Spain. In July 2009 he earned the title of Associate Professor and since December 2012 he holds the title of Professor. Professor Mema has held important positions at the university as Dean, Vice Rector and Rector of the University
Prof. Dr. Mithat Mema is specialized in the field of Natural Resource Economics theory. He also has a prominent experience in the design and implementation of European economic policies in agriculture. He has been part, as a researcher, of more than 5 scientific research projects funded by European institutions. He has also participated in a very significant number of Tempus projects. Prof. Dr. Mithat Mema has published more than 20 scientific articles and is a co-author of three textbooks. He has also participated and referred in more than 35 scientific activities organized in different countries such as Spain, Italy, France, Germany, Romania, Poland, Bulgaria, etc.
His areas of scientific research are focused on: Analysis of the use of Natural Resources; Study of Environmental Impact and Negative Externalities; Labor Market and Demographic Changes; Regional Developments, etc.
Ela Golemi is a professor of Macroeconomics and International Economics, member of the Department of Economic Sciences, Faculty of Business, “Aleksandër Moisiu” University of Durrës. From October 11, 2018 to January 31, 2020, she was Dean of the Faculty of Integrated Studies with Practice. She served as a member of the Supervisory Council of the Bank of Albania and a member of the Audit Committee of the Bank of Albania for the period 2011-2018. She earned the degree of Doctor of Economic Sciences in 2016 at the European University of Tirana, as well as the title of Prof. As. Dr. in 2022. She spent the first 12 years of her career in management positions in some of the main second-tier banks in Albania. In the years 2004-2007, she served as Deputy Mayor of Durrës Municipality, heading the department of fiscal policies, budget, audit, social assistance, etc.
Her scientific activity focuses on issues of the country's financial stability and the economic policies of the Western Balkans for integration into the European Union, issues on which she has written scientific articles and published them in European Scientific Journals. She has actively participated in many international scientific conferences, symposia and seminars in Europe and the United States.
Prof. As. Dr. Ermir Shahini is a full-time lecturer at the Department of Economic Sciences of the "Aleksandër Moisiu" University of Durrës, since October 2013 in the subjects Basic and Advanced Micro and Macroeconomics, History of Economic Thought, Economics of Social Issues and Basics of Behavioral Economics.
He completed his higher studies at the University of New York in Tirana, Business Administration Department in 2009. He completed his Master's studies in 2010 from Empire State College, Master of Science in ''Public Law'' in 2012 and Doctorate in Economic Sciences at the Faculty of Business of Aleksander Moisiu University of Durres, in 2016. Since February 2016, he holds the Scientific Degree "Doctor in Economic Sciences" and since February 2023, he holds the title of "Associate Professor" in Economics from the Agricultural University of Tirana. He is also the holder of the title "Real Estate Appraiser", issued by the Academy of Construction by the Ministry of Transport in 2012.
His scientific works in the field of economics have also been presented on the SCOPUS Scientific Works Portal, where until September 2023 he has 9 scientific works and maintains a Hirsch index (Hirsch index) rating of 3, he has also published in a number of National and International Scientific Conferences and Journals. His research areas are focused on: Institutional Efficiency; Economic Policies in Function of Sustainable Economic Growth; Experimental Economics, Behavioral Economics, Legal Economics, etc.
Dr. Alma ZISI is a full-time lecturer at the Department of Economic Sciences of the "Aleksandër Moisiu" University of Durrës, since September 2009. She is engaged in teaching the subjects of Micro and Macroeconomics, Public Sector Economics and International Economics.

Dr. Alba Ramallari (Allmuça) is a full-time lecturer at the Department of Economic Sciences of the “Aleksandër Moisiu” University of Durrës, since October 2015 in the subjects of Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Public Economics at the Bachelor and Master levels. Since 2008 and onwards, she has taught in the bachelor and master programs at the University of Tirana - Faculty of Economics, Aleksandër Moisiu University in Durrës as well as in Private Universities.
Alba graduated in 2008 from the University of Tirana, Faculty of Economics, Department of Economics. In 2010, she received a Master's degree from the University of Tirana, Faculty of Economics and the University of Bamberg (Germany) for a Master's degree in European Economic Studies. She completed her PhD in Economics with the topic "Public Debt Sustainability" with a grade of "Very Good".
She has completed qualifications in the financial system and statements. Her scientific works in the field of economics, macroeconomics, fiscal and monetary policies, as well as public and international finance have been presented and published in a number of National and International Scientific Conferences and Journals. such as in Greece, Montenegro, Turkey, Czech Republic, Serbia, Kosovo, etc.

Dr. Daniela Lika is a lecturer in the Department of Economic Sciences at the University “Aleksandër Moisiu”, Durrës. She holds a degree from the University ‘Aleksander Xhuvani’ (DINII, in Finance-Accounting), from the University ‘Aleksandër Moisiu’ (MS in Finance-Banking) and from the International University of Struga (PhD in Economic Sciences).
Previously, she held the position of Accountant in several companies (Kurum International sh. a, Delta sh.a, Primalat sh.p.k).
Dr. Daniela Lika is the co-author of two lecture series (Macroeconomics, Crisis Economics) and several publications in scientific journals and regional, national and international conferences. Her works are focused on sustainable economic development, free trade and crisis economics.
Dr. Entela Velaj is a full-time lecturer at the Department of Economic Sciences of the “Aleksandër Moisiu” University of Durrës, since October 2012 and continuing in the subjects of Microeconomics, Macroeconomics and Managerial Economics. She completed her studies at the Academy of Public Order in 1998. In 2009 she completed her studies at the Faculty of Business at Kristal University, “Finance” profile. In 2011 she graduated from Master i Shkencave at the Faculty of Business, at the Aleksandër Moisiu University of Durrës in the “Financial Administration” profile. In 2016, she received the “Doctor of Science” degree with the topic: “Efficiency of direct and indirect taxes, valuation model” in Economic Sciences at the “Aleksandër Moisiu” University of Durrës. She holds the title of “Tax-Customs Consultant” since 2011. Until 2008, she was a tax inspector at the Regional Tax Directorate of Durrës. Since 2009, she has managed a fiscal consultancy studio mainly for foreign companies operating in Albania.
She is the author of several scientific publications in the field of economics and taxation in scientific journals and international conferences, where her field of research is taxes and fiscal policies.
Jonida Gashi has been a lecturer in the Department of Economic Sciences at the “Aleksandër Moisiu” University, Durrës since 2008. Her main subjects are Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Labor Market Economics, Environmental Economics and Managerial Economics. She holds a University Degree in Economics and Business, profile Economics of Institutions and Financial Markets issued by the “Giorgio Fua” University of Studies of Ancona, Italy. Her further studies include a Master in Strategy and Firm Management, profile Strategy and Finance for Urban Transformation, “Adriano Olivetti” Institute of Studies for Economic and Firm Administration, Ancona, Italy and a Second Level Master’s Degree in Business Administration, profile Finance-Accounting, “Marin Barleti” University, Tirana, Albania. She currently holds the title of ''Doctor of Science'' in Economic Sciences, defending her thesis ''Labor Productivity and Economies of Scale''.
Jonida Gashi is the author and co-author of several publications in scientific journals and regional, national and international conferences in various fields such as: Economic policies and European integrity, Employment issues and programs in Albania, Wages and inflation, Tax policies in Albania, Inflation and economic growth, Consumption and GP, Blue economy, etc.
Dr. Llambi PRENDI is a lecturer at the Department of Economic Sciences at the “Aleksander Moisiu” University, Durrës. He graduated from the University of Tirana (Bsc. Economics), Msc. Business Administration at the “Aleksander Moisiu” University, Durrës and also earned a Doctorate in Economic Sciences at the “Aleksander Moisiu” University. During his career, he has held positions such as: Brand Manager at “Century 21”, Deputy Director at the Abissnet company, Member of the Supervisory Board at the Tirana Stock Exchange and FAF.sha. In his current position at UAMD, he teaches the following courses: Basics of Microeconomics, Advanced Microeconomics, Basics of Macroeconomics, Advanced Macroeconomics for bachelor students and Managerial Economics, World Crisis Economics for master students.
Dr. Llambi Prendi is co-author of three books: (Managerial Economics, Microeconomics, Crisis Economics) and more than 20 publications in scientific journals and regional, national and international conferences, focused on Circular Economy; Microeconomics; Macroeconomics.
Dr. Irini Goga is a full-time lecturer at the Department of Economic Sciences of the “Aleksandër Moisiu” University of Durrës, since September 2023. Since 20013, she has taught in the bachelor's program at the Agricultural University of Tirana - Faculty of Economics and Agribusiness. In 2021, she returns to teaching at the European University of Tirana.
Irini graduated in 2001 from the Agricultural University of Tirana - Faculty of Economics and Agribusiness, Department: Agribusiness. In 2003, she received a Master's degree from CIHEAM, Zaragoza, Spain, on "Sustainable Economic Development in Relation to the Environment." Since 2022, she holds the Scientific Degree of Doctor of Sciences defended at the Agricultural University of Tirana, Faculty of Economics and Agribusiness.
Her scientific works in the field of economics and management have been presented and published in a number of National and International Scientific Conferences and Journals, such as in Montenegro, Italy, Bulgaria, etc.
He has also published in journals such as the European Research Studies Journal (ERSJ), IJEES, as well as in the journal: Economicus.
Martin Kuka is a lecturer at the Department of Economic Sciences of the “Aleksandër Moisiu” University, Durrës. He holds a 4-year Bachelor’s degree (consolidated by the Ministry of Education as a Master of Science) from the University of Athens in the field of Philosophy, another 4-year Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the State University of New York – Empire State College, a Master of Science degree from the University of Athens in Sociology, as well as two Master’s degrees (MA and Mphil) in Philosophy from the Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium. As of 2022, he holds the scientific degree of Doctor of Science obtained at the Harokopio University of Athens, with the doctoral thesis “Space and Politics. Sociological Transformations in the Period of Globalization”.
Martin Kuka is the author of the book Hyrje në Teorinë e Lojës, (Botimet Albpaper, Tirana, 2014), as well as several lectures for bachelor and master students of the Department of Economic Sciences. He has participated in many international conferences, with the main topic being Albanian emigration.
