International Conflicts and Terrorism, International and Diplomatic Relations students

Within the framework of the course International Conflicts and Terrorism, the students of International and Diplomatic Relations led by lecturer Dr. Mirela Metushaj today, May 15, 2024, had the pleasure of having invited for an open lecture the security expert Mr. Gledis Nano who informed about the now changed meaning of national and international security, the development of strategies in the fight against international terrorism and that in Albania. The students asked a number of questions regarding specific cases that Mr. Nano has encountered during the exercise of his function as General Director of the State Police and Director of Anti-Terrorism. He has a 20-year career in the field of National Security, Criminology and the Law Enforcement industry. The meeting ended with very positive impressions and the desire for another meeting to talk about security and terrorism based on the analysis of specific cases.
