Department of Practice-Integrated Studies aims to create a bridge between academic theory and practical experience, preparing students with the skills needed for the job market. Through a innovative and interdisciplinary approach, the department offers study programs that combine classroom learning with field experience, focusing on professional internships, real projects and collaboration with industry.The main goal is developing professional competencies and preparing students for the challenges of the labor market at national and international level.
Staff:
Born in Durrës, on 07.09.1989. She completed her university studies in October 2013, at the Faculty of Law, Carlo Bò University, Urbino, Italy. In October 2014, she passed the exam at the Ministry of Justice, earning the title of Legal Translator of the Italian Language. She completed her doctoral studies in July 2017 at the Doctoral School, European University of Tirana (UET), in Legal Sciences with a Profile in International Law with the dissertation on the topic “Status of the passive subject within the framework of free movement in the European Union”. Since October 2018, she has been a full-time lecturer at the Faculty of Professional Studies, “Aleksandër Moisiu” University of Durrës. She is currently Head of the Department of Integrated Studies with Practice at the Faculty of Professional Studies. Participant in a number of activities and collaborations in the legal field, as well as author of scientific articles published in scientific journals domestically and internationally.
Ada Gashi was born in Durrës on 21.07.1993. She completed her studies at the Faculty of Law, University of Tirana, Law branch in 2012-20215, and completed the second cycle of studies in Master of Science in Criminal Law 2015-2017, following which she completed law school, as well as mediator training. She started working with the Aleksandër Moisiu University of Durrës since July 2016 where she worked as Head of the Coordination Sector at the Rectorate, and then since November 2022 as a full-time lecturer at the Department of Integrated Studies with Practice. During this time, she performed administrative duties as an assistant to the Board of Administration, Chair of the Institutional Elections Commission, and is also part of working groups established at department and faculty level. She is a participant in national and international conferences where she has made continuous publications.
Luljeta Hasani born in Fushe Arrëz on 18.12.1976. He graduated from Aleksandër Xhuvani University of Elbasan in the years 2003-2007 in the teaching department for the subjects History-Geography. In 2009-2011 he continued his studies at the second level Master of Science in Cultural Heritage. During 2009 he was certified at the University of Pisa, Italy, in issues of urban requalification. During 2010 he was certified at the University of Barcelona ETSTAB (Spain) on issues of urban requalification related to cultural heritage. In 2017 he defended his scientific degree Doctor of Science in Political Science at the European University of Tirana. She has completed postgraduate studies at the Professional Academy 'Elita Politeke', certifying as "Political Expert", "New Leader", "Elita Politeke", she has also completed and is certified in the course "International Relations and Diplomacy" at the Albanian Diplomatic Academy. She has participated and published (book on the topic "The influence of the political elite in building state-society relations during transition") as well as a series of scientific articles, both domestically and abroad, Italy, Macedonia, Kosovo, etc. She is fluent in Italian and English. She has extensive experience in teaching as a lecturer at UAMD Durrës since 2015. She has also participated in several training courses on Human Rights, journalism and Leadership, engaging in various articles of the cultural and historical spectrum.
Greta Petriti was born in Korça on 30.07.1997. She completed her university studies in 2018, at the Faculty of Law, University of Tirana, Law Department. In 2020, she completed her second cycle Master's studies in Civil Law at the Faculty of Law, University of Tirana. She also completed law school. Greta Petriti, since February 2022, has been a full-time assistant lecturer at the Faculty of Professional Studies, "Aleksandër Moisiu" University of Durrës. During this period of time, she has lectured courses in the field of law. Participant in a number of activities as well as author of scientific articles published in scientific journals inside and outside the country. She is currently in her second year of doctoral studies in Public Law at the Doctoral School, Faculty of Political and Law Sciences, Aleksandër Moisiu University of Durrës in a dual third cycle study program in collaboration with the “Tor Vergata” University of Rome. Greta Petriti has also worked for several years as a legal assistant at a law firm and as a project manager at the Ministry of Finance and Economy.
Eduina Maksuti holds the position of full-time assistant lecturer at Aleksandër Moisiu University, Department of Integrated Studies with Practice. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Management from Ankara University, Turkey, and a Second Level Master’s Degree in “Business Management” from Epoka University, Albania. Currently, she is a PhD candidate at Aleksandër Moisiu University, Albania, Faculty of Business.
Her work experience includes teaching at the Bachelor level subjects such as “Marketing Fundamentals”, “Organizational Behavior”, “Communication Skills”, etc. In addition to her academic commitments, she has been an active member of the Internal Quality Assurance Unit and Coordinator of the International Relations Office at “Bedër” University College.
Dr. Evelina Lusha is a lecturer at the Faculty of Professional Studies at the University "Aleksandër"
Durrës, where she is part of the Destip Department (Department of Integrated Studies
with Practice). She holds a Ph.D. in International Relations in the field of Security
and Defense and a Second-Level Master’s degree in International Relations.With
extensive academic and research experience, Dr. Lusha has contributed to studies on
the green economy, sustainable development, and natural resource management. She
has been involved in international scientific projects and has published articles in
prestigious academic journals on geopolitics, national security, and the impact of
technology on economic development. Beyond her academic engagement, Dr. Lusha
has significant experience in education and management, serving as a leader and
participant in international projects focused on innovation in education, sustainable
tourism, and economic development. She is a regular speaker at scientific conferences
and maintains a broad network of collaborations with
higher education institutions and research organizations both nationally and internationally.

Andela Petraj is an internal lecturer at the Faculty of Professional Studies, Department of Studies Integrated with Practice. She holds two university degrees from the University of Tirana, respectively at the Faculty of Social Sciences and the Faculty of Law. In 2012, she completed her postgraduate studies, Master of Science in “Sociology of Social Developments”, at the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Tirana. Currently, she is in the second year of doctoral studies in “Public Law” at the Faculty of Political and Legal Sciences, UAMD. Participant in a number of activities and collaborations with foreign universities and professors in the field of social and legal sciences, as well as author of scientific articles published in scientific journals at home and abroad. Among her professional experiences, we can list the contribution made at the State Cadastre Agency where she worked as a legal specialist for 6 years, until 2021 when she joined the academic staff of UAMD.
