Description of QEV

The Continuing Education Center is a core unit of the Faculty of Education. It has an academic staff with extensive experience in teaching, scientific research, university development, and professional development

The Continuing Education Center manages with quality and responsibility the implementation of three study programs:

  • The 2-Year Professional Study Program "Educator for Children Aged 0-3"
  • The 2-Year Professional Study Program "Gerontology"
  • The Master's Program in "Continuing Education"

Education and professional training is a field of professional skills that combines education with practical experience, equipping individuals with specific knowledge and skills, as well as competencies to integrate into the labor market.

Professional programs create the opportunity to welcome high school graduates without average grade criteria, by professionally preparing them for the job market.

These programs are completed with 120 credits, in full-time study format, with a standard duration of 2 academic years. një ndërthurje edukimi dhe shërbimi social. 

Offering two foreign languages (English and German), the program provides the opportunity for employment not only in the domestic market but also in the international one.

The main focus of the Continuing Education Center (QEV) is training within the framework of the continuous professional development of educational staff in the pre-university system, in accordance with the "Functioning of the Professional Development System for Educational Staff".

The Continuing Education Center (QEV) offers accredited training modules by the Ministry of Education, Sports, and Youth (MASR) such as:

  6. "Development of Critical and Creative Thinking in Students"
  7. "Methods and Strategies for Supporting Children with Special Needs"
  8. "Online Learning Platforms"
  9. Entrepreneurship Skills Education for Lower and Upper Secondary School Teachers
  10. Entrepreneurship Skills Education for Lower Cycle and Preschool Teachers in Pre-University Education
  11. "Combined Teaching with Learning Management Systems"
  12. "Learning and the Assessment Culture in Albania"
