PROF. AS. DR. EDLIRA ABDURAHMANI is a lecturer and also Head of
Department of Albanian Language at the Faculty of Education at the University "Aleksandër
Moses”, Durres.
She graduated from the University of Tirana, Faculty of History and Philology, where she was awarded the title
"High School Language and Literature Teacher". He also received his degree from this university.

sociolinguistics, history of the Albanian language, ethnolinguistics, Albanian studies, dialectology,
phonetics, onomastics, psycholinguistics, standard Albanian, etc.

Prof. As. Dr. Suela Kastrati is the author and co-author of several texts and more than 35
publications in scientific journals and regional, national and international conferences
as: "Student's self-evaluation in Albanian language", (2013);About some issues related to the
noun system in the usage of language at official acts of 1925 in Albania" 2015;Issues concerning
literary and linguistics contribuition in the poem‚ The songs of Milosaos“ by Jeronim De Rada
(2014).
Her publications include, among others: Monograph “The verbal system and the level of syntax in
the language of the magazine "HYLLI I DRITĘS" (1921-1930), Co-author of Academic Writing (2017).

DOC. DR. AIDA KURANI belongs to the founding academic staff of the University of Durrës, which was
opened in September 2006. She teaches at the Department of Albanian Language in the following subjects:
“Syntax of the Albanian language” and “Advanced Teaching of the Albanian language”.
He defended his doctorate in "Linguistics", field of study "Syntax of the Albanian Language" at
University of Tirana, Faculty of History and Philology. 
Aida has also attended a postgraduate specialization course in "Linguistics", at the Scuola di
Specialization, University for Foreigners of Perugia in Italy, with a scholarship funded by
Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. 
She is the author and co-author of a number of articles and monographs in the field of
syntax and teaching of the Albanian language.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aida Kurani has a long and rich experience in the field of teaching.

PROF. AS. DR. HELENA MUKLI GRILLO is a lecturer in the Department of Language.
Albanian at the University “Aleksandër Moisiu”, Durrës. She holds a degree from the University of
Tirana (DND in Albanian Language and Literature), from the University of Tirana (SHPU in Linguistics) and
Cyril and Methodius University, Skopje (Doctorate in Philology). Earns the title of "Associate Professor"
by decision of the Academic Staff Promotion Committee of the University of Tirana.
Previously, she held the position of lecturer at the University of Vlora.
Prof. as. dr. Helena Mukli Grillo is the head of the courses: Introduction to Linguistics, Spelling,
Theoretical linguistics. She is the author and co-author of 3 texts: “The Art of Writing”, “The Language of
Himara", "Guide to Academic Writing" and more than 50 publications in journals
scientific and regional, national and international conferences.
Her publications include, among others: Psycholexical analysis of descriptive adjectives
personality (2017), Toponymy in the perspective of macrostructure and microstructure (2015),
Spelling of special nouns (2015), “Albanian Language and the use of foreign words in
school-age” (2021), “The need for continuous training in the performance of Uviversity

Prof. as. dr. Helena Mukli Grillo is a participant in editorial committees and boards, in
scientific bulletin, on organizing committees of scientific conferences, as well as reviewers of
textbooks in the selection of winning textbooks, organized by the Ministry of Education and Science.
She is part of the working group on the research projects "Professional Anxiety and Its Impact"
in teaching", "Strengthening the performance of primary education teachers among dilemmas and
post-covid-19 trends" funded by the "Aleksandër Moisiu" University of Durrës, as well as
coordinator of the research project "Language Acquisition - Technology and Mastery of
language competences" funded in 2023-2024. It is also the developer of the modules
and trainer at QEV at the "Aleksandër Moisiu" University in Durrës.

DR. MANOLA KAÇI (MYRTA) is a lecturer at the Department of Albanian Language at
"Aleksandër Moisiu" University, Durrës. He received his doctorate from the University of Tirana in
Linguistics in 2014. He also holds a Master's degree (Master of Science in
Linguistics, 2006) from the University of Tirana, Faculty of History and Philology, as well as a diploma from
Bachelor's degree (Bachelor in Language - Literature, 2000) from the "Aleksandër Xhuvani" University of
Elbasan.
Dr. Manola Kaçi (Myrta) has a long and rich experience in the field of teaching. This

of Albanological Studies (Doctorate in Linguistics).
Previously, she held the position of lecturer at "Luigj Gurakuqi" University, Shkodër.
Dr. Manjola Zaçellari (Lumani) is the author of the monographic study "Reflections on the fields

(University of Elbasan), Doctorate in Linguistics-Applied Linguistics, (University of Tirana),
Master of Science in Traditional Literature (University of Tirana).
Dr. Natasha Poroçani has 29 years of experience in the field of teaching, of which 10
years in university education. Currently as a lecturer at UAMD in the Department of Albanian Language,
covers the subjects Pragmalinguistics, History of Albanian Writing, Academic Writing.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Marisa Kërbizi, is an internal lecturer at the “Aleksandër” University
Moisiu” Durrës, since the opening of this institution. She has graduated with excellent results
4-year studies at the University of Tirana, department "Language-Literature". He has completed his studies
Master (SHPU), specializing in modern literature, through a thesis on
Anton Pashku's creativity. She defended her doctoral thesis with maximum marks (100)
points) in 2013 and in 2022 received the title of Associate Professor in the Department of
Literature, Faculty of History and Philology, University of Tirana.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Marisa Kërbizi has carried out exchanges within the framework of ERASMUS programs
+, at Tartu University, Estonia (2019), Jaen University, Spain (2022), Pedagogical
University of Krakow, Poland (2022), Leon University, Spain (2023), etc.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Marisa Kërbizi has held important leadership positions in
"Aleksandër Moisiu" University of Durrës. She has served as a member of the Ethics Council
for a 4-year term, member of the UAMD Research Council, Deputy Dean for
Scientific Research, Faculty of Education (2017-2019), as well as Head of the Department
of Literature (2019-present).
Prof. Kërbizi is the author of the books: “Modernist and Postmodernist Inflections in
"The Albanian Novel" (2022), "Introduction to Academic Writing" (2017). She is co-author of

Prof. Kërbizi is also a co-author of “Language, Power and Ideology: A volume in

Prof. Kërbizi is a writer and project manager implemented by Terre des Hommes (Albania – Hungary) and funded by the European Union (2019), (2022),
(2023), focusing on the application of literature in the function of socio-emotional empowerment of

Prof. Marisa Kërbizi has participated in 45 scientific activities such as congresses and conferences.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bavjola Shatro, is an internal lecturer at UAMD since
its establishment, in 2006. She completed her 4-year university studies at the University of
of Tirana and graduated with the Excellent Student Medal (2005). He completed his studies
Master's degree at the Post-University School (SHPU) at the University of Tirana (2007) with
specializing in contemporary Albanian prose (Ismail Kadare's novel). She has completed
doctoral studies at the Academy of Albanological Studies in Tirana (2011), with
specializing in the comparative study of contemporary Albanian poetry. She has completed her graduate
credits course për Evaluation Assessment of IB Grading Standards në Kent State University
in the USA, in 2018 with a maximum rating of 12/12. In 2016, she earned the academic title
"Associate Professor" from "Aleksandër Xhuvani" University, Elbasan.
Prof. Assoc.Dr.Shatro has conducted scientific research for doctoral studies in the field of
Literary and critical theories, scientific research methods and comparative literature, in
Università di Pavia, Italy (2010) and at the University of Turku, Finland (2011). She has completed
specializations, research work and has lectured at BA and MA levels in the fields of:
Comparative Literature, 20th Century Foreign Literature, Contemporary Literary Criticism in
Pennsylvania State University, SHBA (2012), Abo Alkademi University, Finlandë (2013),
University of Salamanca, Spanjë (2015).
She is currently the second-term elected president of the academic body.

Prof. Shatro is a member of the Scientific Board of two Scopus indexed journals:

Lekë SOKOLI (Prof. Dr.) është lektor pranë Departamentit të Sociologjisë, të Fakultetit të
Edukimit, Universiteti “Aleksander Moisiu” Durrës. Në periudhën 2016-2021 ai ka kryer edhe
detyrën e Zv.Rektorit për Kërkimin Shkencor dhe Kryetarit të Këshillit Shkencor të UAMD.
Për më se 30 vjet ai është marrë me studime, botime dhe mësimdhënie në fushën e sociologjisë,
filozofisë e shkencave të tjera sociale. Ai është i pari doktor shkencash në Shqipëri në fushën e
sociologjisë, ka qenë themelues dhe drejtues i tre departamenteve të sociologjisë (dy prej të
cilave ishin të parët në historinë e Shqipërisë), si dhe ka udhëhequr hartimin e programeve të
para të studimit në sociologji në Shqipëri.
Ai është, gjithashtu, drejtor themelues i Institutit Shqiptar të Sociologjisë (AIS), president
themelues i Shoqatës Sociologjike Shqiptare (ALBSA), si dhe iniciator i themelimit të Forumit
Sociologjik të Ballkanit (BSF) e presidenti i parë i tij.
Ai ka marrë pjesë si referues në më se 100 konferenca shkencore, në Shqipëri dhe vende të tjera
(nga Amerika në Japoni) si dhe është organizator dhe drejtues (Kryetar i Komisionit Shkencore,
ose koordinator i institucioneve bashkëorganizatore) i serisë së konferencave vjetore
ndërkombëtare të AIS-UAMD dhe partnerëve ndërkombëtarë, të cilat zhvillohen në nëntor të çdo

Dr. Merlina Koseni (Pograzha) ka lindur në qytetin e Durrësit më 22.02.1983. Punon që nga
Tetori i vitit 2007 e në vazhdim si Lektore pranë Departamentit të Sociologjisë, Fakulteti i
Edukimit, Universiteti “Alekdandër Moisiu” Durrës. Ka përfunduar studimet e larta në vitin
2006 në UT, Fakulteti i Shkencave Sociale, dega Filozofi-Sociologji. Në vitin 2010 përfundon
studimet M.s.c për Administrim Publik në “Albanian University”. Në qershor të vitit 2017
mbrojti doktoraturën në fushën e filozofisë, FSHS, Tiranë. Është anëtare e Institutit Shqiptar të

Dr. Jak Simoni ka lindur në Lezhë me 25 09.1968. Është laureuar në filozofi në Universitetin
Shtetëror të Milanos dhe ka përfunduar studimet e doktoratës në Fakultetin e Shkencave Sociale
të Universitetit të Tiranës. Që prej vitit 2007 është pedagog i brendshëm i disa lëndëve të
karakterit filozofik në Fakultetin e Edukimit në Universitetin “Aleksandër Moisiu”, si Hyrje në
filozofi, Logjikë, Filozofi edukimi, Të menduarit kritik etj., gjithashtu prej vitesh është pedagog i

Dr. Matilda Likaj është lektor në Departamentin e Sociologjisë, pranë Fakultetit të Edukimit, në
Universitetin “Aleksandër Moisiu”, Durrës. Punon prej me tepër se 12 vitesh si lektore me kohë
të plotë në universitet të ndryshme private dhe shtetërore. Dr. Likaj zotëron diplomë nga
