"Aleksandër Moisiu" University of Durrës participated in one of the most important events of the European Union, the "European Week of Regions and Cities", where the European University Alliance STARS EU, of which UAMD is also a part, organized the session on the topic "European Experience of Innovation".
The activity was moderated by UAMD Lecturer, Ms. Dorina Gjipali, showing the important and increasingly active role that our university is taking within the STARS EU Alliance and beyond.
This session was attended by senior leaders of the European Commission, representatives of partner universities and European entrepreneurship, while the Rector of UAMD held fruitful meetings with:
Dick Pouwels, Hanze University of Applied Sciences, Netherlands – Chair of the STARS EU Commission, Rima Dijsktra, Coordinator of STARS EU, Prof. Dr. Svenja Tams, Hochschule Bremen (HSB), Germany,
discussing new academic collaborations, including joint programs in leadership, entrepreneurship, and business law.
Through international partnerships, quality academic staff, and active involvement in the STARS EU Alliance, UAMD continues to strengthen its European profile, bringing innovative study programs, double degrees, and concrete opportunities for students in the European labor market.
