UAMD, leader in the European Union's Erasmus + CBHE projects

Within the framework of applications under the Erasmus+ program, Capacity Building in Higher Education Component, for 2022, UAMD has been announced as the winner in 4 projects in the capacity of partner.  

Involvement in capacity building projects will serve to train staff and students, as well as contribute to building a more developed infrastructure in the UAMD Faculties.

  • Partnership for the Promotion and Popularization of Electric Mobility through the Transformation and Modernization of Study Programs of HEIs of the countries Ballkanit Perëndimor (PELMOB)

The major objective of the PELMOB project is to improve the quality of higher education in the field of Electric Mobility (EM) in line with the trends of EU countries, the contribution, promotion and popularization of EM, to strengthen its relevance for the labor market and society through the creation and organization of EM associations, with the aim of raising awareness in the Western Balkan countries.

  • Improving Management and Governance through Teaching (MAGNET)

The MAGNET project aims to develop a network for University Pedagogy in the Western Balkan countries, through the transfer of knowledge from countries that have functional Centers for Teaching and Learning (CTL), to all partner countries. The activities of this project aim to increase the quality and relevance of higher education provision, underline the importance of learning and teaching as a core mission for teaching and learning activities to be oriented towards student success.

  • Higher education courses in Data Journalism in Western Balkan countries (WEBJOU)

The WEBJOU project aims to promote knowledge exchange and multidisciplinary innovation of teaching and learning in the Western Balkan countries, regarding the provision of all knowledge and skills, especially from fields such as data science, statistics, visualization and communication, necessary to function effectively in the frameworks of data journalism and data communication.

  • Green transformation through Internet of Things (IoT) technology for the academic society and business-oriented ecosystem in the Western Balkans (IoT-ECO)

Support to HEIs of the Western Balkan countries towards green transformation and networking, to foster collaboration through Internet of Things (IoT) technology.

Digitalization enabled by IoT solutions will be a key opportunity for the implementation of the EU Green Agenda for the Western Balkan countries in the five priority pillars in line with the concept of the dual green and digital transition.
