Three-Day Study Visit in Athens-Greece in the framework of WEB-NIMBUSProject

From May 26 th -30 th -, a delegation of 4 members from Aleksandër Moisiu University of Durrës
participated in a three-day Erasmus+ CBHE WEB-NIMBUS study visit in Athens, Greece,
focused on innovation in higher education.
Day 1 at the University of West Attica introduced advanced pedagogical frameworks such as
Bloom’s Taxonomy, Kolb’s Experiential Learning, and intentional course design strategies to
enhance active learning and critical thinking in the classroom.
Day 2 took place at Metropolitan College, where participants explored cutting-edge IT
laboratories and received insights into curriculum innovation and hands-on learning from the
Dean of the Informatics Department, emphasizing digital-era competencies.
Day 3 at AKMI International Office centered on work-based learning and industry integration,
highlighting models for outcome-based education and flexible curricula that align with labor
market demands. The blueprint curricula for the MSc program “Cloud and Edge Technologies”,
prepared by Aleksandër Moisiu University of Durrës team was analyzed and discussed by all the
partners to conclude on the best curricula for all Albanian and Kosovo partner universities.
The visit strengthened institutional cooperation, encouraged adoption of modern teaching
practices, and reinforced the project’s mission to transform higher education in the Western
Balkans through collaboration and capacity building.
