CALL FOR STUDENTS – SOC LAB

In accordance with the strategic profile of the "Aleksandër Moisiu" University of Durrës and the orientation
towards internationalization, scientific research and the development of academic capacities, Soc
Lab opens a call for Master's level students or excellent Bachelor's level students who
want to gain practical experience in scientific research, through close application of
applied research approach in addressing contemporary social issues.

Involvement in Soc Lab aims to contribute to the formation of students as active actors in research,
able to connect theory with practice and develop the necessary competencies for
academic and professional commitments in a national and international context.
Participants will have the opportunity to:

  •  engage in concrete scientific research processes;
  • recognize and apply applied research methodologies and instruments;
  • contribute to empirical analyses and studies with social impact;
  • develop research and analytical skills valuable for thesis work and for
    building their academic and professional profile;
  • structure and present their research work as a graduation thesis
    Master), in accordance with the academic criteria and procedures of the University "Aleksandër
    Moses” Durres.
  • are certified with a certificate of participation after successful completion of the engagement in
    Soc Lab.

Priority is given to students in social fields; however, given that the topics covered in
within Soc Lab also have educational, psychological, legal, financial,
management, as well as related to technology and social service systems, also students from
other academic programs at the "Aleksandër Moisiu" University of Durrës are invited to join,
in the spirit of an interdisciplinary and open approach to academic collaboration.

APPLICATION CRITERIA
Applicants must:

  • be students registered at the Master's level or excellent students at the Bachelor's level in
    UAMD;
  • to show interest in scientific research;
  • have motivation for research work and group collaboration;
  • Priority will be given to students with an interest in interdisciplinary approaches and the development of
    research competencies in line with contemporary academic standards.
