Scientific research project "Challenges and practices of empowermentë women and girls inë sipëEntrepreneurship and political decision-making: a case study of the region ofë Durrësit dhe Tiranës “

Within the framework of the scientific research project “Challenges and practices of women and girls’ empowerment in entrepreneurship and political decision-making: a case study of the Durrës and Tirana region” funded by the “Aleksandër Moisiu” University of Durrës, all interested students of the Faculty of Business and the Faculty of Political and Legal Sciences are invited to apply to participate in the implementation of the following project activities: training on scientific research methods, training on women’s empowerment in decision-making and entrepreneurship, writing scientific articles as well as preparation for publications and participation in scientific conferences. The start of the implementation of this project coincides with the training on scientific research methods that will be held at the University Hospital Campus on the dates December 12-16, 2022. The duration of this project is 12 months.

This project aims to raise awareness among students about the importance of women's empowerment in society and the motivation of girls in the future in the field of entrepreneurship and political decision-making, as well as sensitizing political and economic authorities, but also society in the Durrës and Tirana regions, about the importance and possibilities of further women's empowerment, as a necessity for safe and sustainable development. Students will be trained in scientific research methods according to the learning by doing method.

Required profile

• Student at the Faculty of Business and the Faculty of Political and Legal Sciences at Bachelor or Master level;
• Resident in the city of Durrës and Tirana (preferred);
• Interested in scientific research methods and the empowerment of women and girls;
• Have good analytical and organizational skills;
• Have good communication and teamwork skills.
