As a member of 9 European universities, part of the STARS EU Alliance, UAMD is proud of its achievements to date and its ongoing objectives.
Today, at the meeting of the STARS EU Steering Committee, concrete initiatives were taken that will further the values of UAMD as a university with European standards. Today we discussed new dual degrees at all levels of study, important joint projects and the creation of a joint scientific journal of the Alliance ranked with SCOPUS, and many other projects.
As Rector of the "Aleksandër Moisiu" University of Durrës, I express the full and unwavering commitment of our university to the STARS EU Alliance.
Over the past year, we have seen remarkable progress and productive collaboration within the STARS EU Alliance. The first year of implementation has been an inspiring journey for all of us, full of shared achievements and valuable university experiences.
As we continue together on this transformative journey, our university, Aleksander Moisiu University, Durrës, is committed to being an active and engaged partner: Our faculties, staff and students are committed to contributing to the success of the Alliance. We are ready and able to share our experiences, as well as learn from the Alliance’s partner universities, and work together on initiatives that align with our shared goals.
We are committed to supporting joint programs and scientific research: We are happy about the opportunities for developing joint educational programs and research projects. These initiatives not only enhance academic collaboration, but also provide our students with valuable opportunities to engage with different perspectives and ideas.
We will strongly encourage Mobility and Exchange: We will continue to promote student and staff mobility, believing that these exchanges are vital for building strong relationships and enriching the educational experience for all involved.
We will use all our capacity to connect with our region: We are committed to leveraging the resources and expertise within STARS EU to have a tangible impact on our community and region. By working closely with stakeholders we aim to be a catalyst for positive change and development.
We will be committed to supporting the Alliance’s long-term success: We understand the importance of sustainability and growth. Our university will continue to invest in this partnership, exploring new ways to collaborate and ensure that the benefits of our work extend well into the future.
