In the guise of political scientists, the students of International and Diplomatic Relations led by lecturer Dr. Mirela Metushaj continue the cycle of study visits, this time, to the Embassy of Ukraine in Albania where, in the presence of Ambassador Mr. Shkurov Volodymyr, they discussed Russia's war against Ukraine, the geopolitical situation in the region, bilateral relations between Albania and Ukraine, the recognition of the State of Kosovo, etc.
This conversation provided a unique opportunity for students to engage directly with a career diplomat, a representative of one of the nations currently facing war. The Ambassador was willing and open to sharing the Ukrainian perspective, explaining his country’s positions on various topics and emphasizing the importance of dialogue and understanding as bridges connecting nations to overcome global challenges. The meeting closed with a note of solidarity and support for the courageous Ukrainian people.
