International and Diplomatic Relations Students Meet the Israeli Ambassador znj. Galit Peleg. As researchers of politics and international events and on the occasion of International Holocaust Remembrance Day, a group of International and Diplomatic Relations students led by lecturer Dr. Mirela Metushaj had the opportunity to be received at the Israeli Embassy in Tirana by Ambassador Ms. Galit Peleg.
A very impressive meeting where Albania-Israel relations today were discussed, as well as the treatment that Albanians gave to the Israeli community during World War II.
Two major conflicts in the world today were also discussed: Israel's stance on the Russia-Ukraine war and the escalation of the situation following the Hamas terrorist attack and possible paths towards sustainable peaceful solutions.
The meeting ended with the wish and invitation for the ambassador to visit UAMD for an open lecture on diplomacy and international relations.
