Information that is made public without request is expressly provided for in Article 7 of Law No. 119/2014 “On the Right to Information”.
In accordance with this Transparency Program approved, "Aleksandër Moisiu" University of Durres (UAMD) makes available to the public, in official website www.uamd.edu.al and in citizens' reception areas, all necessary information to the public, in accordance with the principles of openness, transparency and institutional accountability.

Information Services

"Aleksandër Moisiu" University of Durres (UAMD) is a public institution of higher education, which carries out its academic, research and institutional activities on the basis of Law No. 80/2015, dated 22.07.2015 “On higher education and scientific research in higher education institutions in the Republic of Albania”.

UAMD generates lawful income from scientific research activities, from intellectual property rights, as well as from services for the provision of which it has been granted the right by legal acts, bylaws in force and internal institutional acts.

Board of Administration of the University "Aleksandër Moisiu" Durrës approves the fees for services provided by the university, in accordance with applicable legislation and institutional financial management policies.

Student exchange instruments and programs

“Aleksandër Moisiu” University of Durrës (UAMD) offers extensive mobility opportunities for students, academic and administrative staff through European programs and bilateral agreements. These initiatives aim to increase the quality of education, internationalize curricula and strengthen cooperation with higher education institutions across Europe.

Main instruments of exchange

Erasmus+

The Erasmus+ program constitutes the main instrument of international mobility at UAMD. Mobility is carried out on the basis of bilateral agreements signed with partner universities in the European Union countries and beyond.

 It enables:

  1. Short and medium-term exchanges for students (studies and professional internships);
  2. Mobility for academic and administrative staff (teaching and training);
  3. Academic credit recognition (ECTS);
  4. Financial support for travel and accommodation costs.

CEEPUS

CEEPUS (Central European Exchange Program for University Studies) is a regional program that supports:

  1. Student exchanges within thematic academic networks;
  2. Mobility of academic staff for lectures and scientific research;
  3. Structured cooperation between universities in Central and Southeastern Europe.

This instrument is particularly suitable for research mobilities and advanced academic development.

Bilateral agreement

In addition to EU-funded programs, UAMD has signed a number of bilateral agreements with international partner universities, which enable:

  1. Student exchanges;
  2. Mobility of academic staff for teaching, research and joint activities;
  3. Development of joint programs, summer schools and research collaborations;

The conditions of mobility are determined on a case-by-case basis, in accordance with the relevant agreement.

Other international and regional mobility programs related to projects (CBHE, IPA, Horizon Europe, etc.)

Depending on open calls and active projects, UAMD also participates in:

  1. EU-funded capacity building projects (CBHE) or other;
  2. Exchanges related to research and innovation projects.
