On March 4, at 10:30 a.m. at the Faculty of Professional Studies, a Workshop was held. and Training within the framework of Professional languages on the topic:"Language as a specialized activity in the field of Professional Studies.For a specialized language and successful communication in the field of professional studies"Writing and communication techniques."
This activity was developed within the framework of the project with the same topic in the field of sociolinguistics and aims to raise awareness among students (and beyond) about the importance of qualitative language use in various professional activities.
The training focused on several issues of professional written and spoken language use, such as:
- The importance of increasing language skills and capacity in the field of professional studies;
- The importance of knowing some spelling and grammar rules within this field;
- The importance of updating and enriching professional vocabulary;
- Adaptation of borrowed terms from various professional fields to contemporary Albanian;
- Development of professions through professional communication.
The activity was carried out by the representatives of this project, Prof. as. dr. Edlira Troplini Abdurahmani, Department of Albanian Language (Faculty of Education), Msc. Luiza Lluri, Department of Engineering and Marine Sciences (Faculty of Professional Studies). Dr. Mirela Metushaj, Department of Political Sciences (Faculty of Political Sciences - Law), Prof. as. dr. Bitila Shosha, Department of Finance - Accounting (Faculty of Business)
- The training was conducted under the supervision of the Head of the Department of Engineering Sciences and Marine Studies, Ms. Stela Sefa.
- The activity was attended by students of the Faculty of Professional Studies.
