The Department of Albanian Language, at the Faculty of Education, organized an open lecture for students today, with the guests of honor being two prominent figures in Albanian linguistics, Prof. Xhevat Lloshi and Prof. Emil Lafe.
In this conversation, problems related to the standard Albanian language, its respect today, the care that students should have for linguistic "hygiene", as well as many ambiguities and controversial issues regarding language usage were discussed at length.
In this lecture, dedicated to future teachers, emphasis was also placed on other problems related to linguistic variation, specifically geographical and historical variation, also discussing the different periods of linguistic beginnings and the chronological course of the development of the Albanian language.
