Prof.Dr. Shkëlqim Fortuzi meeting with personalities from the Health Advisory Board of the Piedmont Region, Italy

Today, the Rector of UAMD, Prof. Dr. Shkëlqim Fortuzi, hosted a delegation of high-ranking personalities from Health Advisory Board of the Piedmont Region, Italy, assessors with 64 Italian hospitals, chaired by Mr. Federico Riboldi, Minister of the Region. During the reception, a series of opportunities for academic cooperation were discussed with a special focus on the Faculty of Professional Sciences, in the field of medical studies, for carrying out professional internships in health institutions in Piedmont, Italy, offering students a new educational and practical experience. A key aspect of the cooperation is the opportunity for UAMD students to have access to the Italian health system through joint and structured internship programs. This major and extremely important initiative aims to promote professional mobility and further develop the competencies acquired during the training of young professionals. The meeting also discussed academic cooperation with universities in Piedmont, with the aim of achieving joint degrees, enriching academic curricula, promoting professional mobility, as well as academic and cultural exchanges between UAMD and higher education institutions in Italy.
