CANDIDATES APPLYING FOR TRANSFER OF STUDIES TO SECOND CYCLE STUDY PROGRAMS AT THE “ALEKSANDER MOISIU” UNIVERSITY OF DURRA.
The candidate applying for transfer of studies appears in person or through a person authorized by him/her to the relevant academic secretariat and submits the following documentation:
Candidates applying to UAMD for study transfer are eligible to apply for up to five (5) study programs before the start of the academic year.
Eligibility to apply for transfer to second cycle programs have all candidates who meet one of these conditions:
a) Have successfully completed their studies and have been awarded the relevant diploma valid in the Republic of Albania, in a first cycle program, and are pursuing a second cycle program at the time of transfer;
b) They have graduated abroad in a first cycle program and are following a second cycle program at the time of transfer. In this case, the candidate is obliged to have the diploma recognized and validated by the QSHA within the specified deadlines.
Required documentation for application to the second cycle of studies:
a) Diploma and transcript/diploma supplement (or a certified copy of the original). If the first cycle diploma was obtained abroad, it must be accompanied by the act of recognition and assessment issued by the QSHA.
b) State Matura Diploma and certificate of grades (or a certified copy of the original), confirmed by the relevant local educational institution (DRAP/ZVAP). Candidates who have completed secondary school before the entry into force of VKM no. 876, dated 03.11.2010, must present the matura certificate or its duplicate issued by the secondary school and confirmed by the relevant institution, or the relevant document issued by the State Archives together with the list of grades.
c) Application form, according to the format of Appendix No. 3 (download).
d) Copy of identification document.
e) Two personal photographs.
f) Proof of knowledge of the Albanian language for foreign citizens applying for programs in the Albanian language. Candidates of Albanian nationality or those who have completed studies in the Albanian language in Albania are exempt from this obligation.
g) Declaration according to appendix no. 1 (download).
h) The original deregistration document from the HEI from which the candidate is transferring, which must contain:

The candidate appears in person or through a person authorized by him/her to the relevant teaching secretariat and submits the following documentation:
Candidates applying for a second study program in the second cycle have the right to choose up to five (5) programs before the start of the academic year.
Candidates who: are eligible to apply:
a) Have successfully completed their studies and are equipped with the relevant diploma valid in the Republic of Albania, in a second cycle study program, which is licensed at the time of registration and accredited before the student's graduation; or
b) They graduated abroad in a second cycle study program. The candidate is required to complete recognition and validation of the diploma at the QSHA, within the deadlines set out in this instruction.
The candidate applying for a second study program in the second cycle appears in person or through a person authorized by him at the HEI and submits the following documentation:
a) Diploma and transcript/diploma supplement, or a certified copy of the original, of the second cycle of studies.
If the second cycle diploma was obtained abroad, it must be accompanied by the act of recognition and assessment issued by the QSHA or a copy thereof unified with the original, within the deadlines specified in this instruction.
b) Diploma and transcript/diploma supplement, or a certified copy of the original, of the first cycle of studies.
If the first cycle diploma was obtained abroad, it must be accompanied by the act of recognition and verification issued by the QSHA or a certified copy of it.
c) The State Matura Diploma together with the certificate of grades, or copies thereof certified as originals, confirmed by the relevant local educational institution responsible for pre-university education (DRAP/ZVAP).
Candidates who have completed high school before the entry into force of decision no. 876, dated 03.11.2010, of the Council of Ministers, “On some amendments to decision no. 78, dated 08.02.2006, of the Council of Ministers, ‘On the establishment of the State Matura and admissions to public higher education institutions’, as amended”, must submit the certificate of maturity (original or certified copy), confirmed by the relevant local educational institution responsible for pre-university education (DRAP/ZVAP).
In case the candidates do not possess a certificate of maturity of high school, they must present duplicate of the certificate of maturity, issued by the directorate of the high school where they completed their studies and confirmed by the relevant local educational institution (DRAP/ZVAP).
In its absence, the candidate must submit document issued by the State Archives, together with grade list.
d) Application form, according to the format of Annex No. 3 of this instruction.
e) Copy of identification document.
f) Two personal photos.
g) Proof of knowledge of the Albanian language, issued by the responsible structures, for the foreign citizen who enrolls in a study program conducted in the Albanian language.
A candidate who has Albanian nationality and knowledge of the Albanian language may present any document from their country of origin that proves knowledge of this language.
Foreign citizens who have completed either upper secondary education or a study program in the Albanian language at higher education institutions in the Republic of Albania are exempt from this obligation.
h) Declaration according to Annex No. 1 of this instruction.
i) Complete program plan for the second cycle of studies, including the relevant syllabi, confirmation of the list of grades and credits earned for each subject and obligations paid.
This document serves to recognize completed exams and/or relevant credits.
If requested, recognition of completed exams and/or relevant credits is also presented.
