ADMISSION AND REGISTRATION PROCEDURES FOR CANDIDATES APPLYING FOR SECOND TRANSFER OF STUDIES TO THE SECOND CYCLE OF STUDIES AT UAMD

  1. The candidate applying for a second study program in the second cycle of studies appears in person or through a person authorized by him at UMAD and submits the following documentation:
  2. The diploma and transcript/diploma supplement, or a certified copy of the original, of the second cycle of studies. The second cycle diploma obtained abroad is accompanied by the act of recognition and recognition issued by the QSHA or a certified copy thereof, within the deadlines specified in this instruction.
  3. Diploma and transcript/diploma supplement or a certified copy of the original, of the first cycle of studies. The first cycle diploma obtained abroad is accompanied by the act of recognition and recognition issued by the QSHA or a certified copy thereof;
  4. The State Matura Diploma together with the certificate of grades or a certified copy thereof, confirmed by the relevant local educational institution responsible for pre-university education (DRAP/ZVAP). Candidates who have completed secondary school before the entry into force of decision no. 876, dated 3.11.2010, of the Council of Ministers, “On some amendments to decision no. 78, dated 8.2.2006, of the Council of Ministers, “On the establishment of the State Matura and the award in public higher schools”, as amended”, submit the maturity certificate (original or a certified copy, confirmed by the relevant local educational institution responsible for pre-university education (DRAP/ZVAP). If candidates do not possess a high school maturity certificate, they must submit a duplicate of the maturity certificate, issued by the directorate of the high school where they completed school and confirmed by the relevant local institution responsible for pre-university education (DRAP/ZVAP), or the document issued by the State Archives together with the list of grades;

  6. Copy of identification document;
  7. Two personal photographs;
  8. Proof of knowledge of the Albanian language, issued by the responsible structures for the foreign citizen who enrolls in a study program conducted in the Albanian language. The candidate who has Albanian nationality and knowledge of the Albanian language, may present any document from the country of origin that proves knowledge of this language. Foreign citizens who have completed either upper secondary education or a study program in the Albanian language in higher education institutions in the Republic of Albania are exempt from this obligation;
  9. Declaration according to Annex No. 1 of this instruction; (DOWNLOAD)
  10. The complete plan of the second cycle of studies, including the relevant syllabi, a certificate of the list of grades and credits obtained for each subject and obligations paid, which will serve for the recognition of the exams paid and/or the relevant credits, if the recognition of the exams paid and/or the relevant credits is required.
