We clarify that the National Youth Council is an advisory body that functions under the Minister Responsible for Youth and exercises the following powers:
a) presents to the minister responsible for youth the priority policies, budget and activities in the field of youth;
b) proposes main directions and programs for supporting and strengthening youth participation;
c) provides opinions on the drafting of the National Youth Strategy and monitors its implementation;
ç) approves the annual report on the implementation of the National Youth Strategy and the situation of young people.
