The book “Ship Construction” by the author Dr. Ing. Eli Vyshka

Yesterday, June 18, 2024, the book "Ship Construction" by Dr. Eng. Eli Vyshka was promoted at the Academy of Sciences in Tirana.

The book “Ship Construction” comes from the author as the second book, after the publication of her first book “Maritime Logistics” in 2021. Dr. Eng. Eli Vyshka is the author of 12 lecture cycles for the study programs: “Maritime Logistics and Safety”, “Maritime Navigation and Management”, “Automotive Technology” and “Maritime / Land Transport Management”. She is the author and co-author of more than 17 publications in scientific journals and 30 papers at regional, national and international conferences, 5 scientific research projects.

The textbook "Ship Construction" organically summarizes the lectures given by the author in the Bachelor's study program "Navigation and Maritime Management" since 2014, as well as in the 2-year program "Maritime/Land Transport Management" since 2009, offered by the Department of Engineering and Maritime Sciences, at the Faculty of Professional Studies of the "Aleksandër Moisiu" University of Durrës.

This text is a collection of university lectures that primarily serves students, but also people who have a professional interest in naval vessels, their construction and functioning, and as such does not fully cover the aspects of this discipline.
