Open lecture: A brief history of propaganda with communication expert Mr. Elvin Nuri. The students of the Faculty of Political and Law Sciences welcomed today the communication expert Mr. Elvin Nuri who held an open lecture on the notion of propaganda between the past and the present: comparisons in different eras and its evolution as a human phenomenon. In 2020, the Roman publishing house “Intrecci Edizioni” published his book “Breve storia della propaganda”. Through short film images, the students were introduced to characters who have revolutionized the notion of propaganda and its relationship with the media and society at certain times.
Born in Tirana, Elvin Nuri graduated in Communication Theory and Sciences from the Sapienza University of Rome, Italy. For more than 10 years, he has been very active in the field of communication, which includes experience in local journalism, the creative industry (advertising & marketing) and public relations. He is currently responsible for strategic communication at the Delegation of the European Union, while his profile includes publications as an opinion-maker in local media and collaborations with commercial brands in the role of copywriter.
