The VTECH & INNOVATION HUB hosted the launch event of the project “Integrated Tourism Product for Responsible Year-Round Tourism along the Adriatic Coast” (RESTOURISM). This project, supported by the National Agency for Scientific Research and Innovation (AKKSHI), represents an important collaborative initiative between researchers from several universities and the business sector, with the “Aleksandër Moisiu” University in the leading role.
In this activity, scholars and researchers presented the goals and objectives of the project, offering a methodological and practical approach for its development. The activity was characterized by a collaborative atmosphere, where participants had the opportunity to ask questions, hold open discussions and share ideas, building new bridges of cooperation for the future of the tourism sector in Albania.
The RESTOURISM project aims to make a significant contribution to both the scientific literature and the tourism industry. Integrated tourism product modeling will be offered as a practical tool for tourism operators, aiming to help not only in the transfer of knowledge from universities to businesses, but also in the promotion of responsible and sustainable tourism throughout the year.
Through this project, the tourism sector is expected to benefit not only from the development of innovative products, but also from the promotion of sustainable and responsible practices, which will contribute to the preservation of the environment and the long-term development of the Adriatic coast. This project represents an important step towards creating a successful model of cooperation between the academic and private sectors, with the aim of improving the quality of tourism services and the responsibility of this sector in Albania.
This initiative is an excellent opportunity for all stakeholders in the tourism sector, offering new and innovative solutions for the sustainable development of tourist destinations along the Adriatic coast, as well as promoting tourism that respects and preserves the natural and cultural resources of the region.
