Giselda Plaku - an example to follow!

A completely deserved award  for the 20th anniversary of the "Aleksandër Moisiu" University of Durrës , with the motivation “Impact on the community”, for Giselda Plaku — former student of UAMD, Public Administration branch, Faculty of Political and Law Sciences  and one of the most active and tireless voices of Albanian youth for environmental protection. 

Giselda has made a continuous and concrete contribution  in community awareness , especially among young people, about the importance of cleaning and preserving the environment. Through volunteer initiatives, awareness campaigns, clean-up actions and public engagement, it has helped create a more responsible culture towards nature, the sea, public spaces and natural heritage.

Through her work, Giselda has shown that change starts with the individual, but becomes powerful when transformed into community action. She has served as an inspiring example for the younger generation, encouraging active participation, cooperation and civic awareness for a cleaner and healthier environment, in line with European values ​​of sustainable development.

This award is not only a personal recognition, but also a recognition for energy, dedication, and real impact on society.
