📌The Faculty of Education - UAMD is pleased to invite you to the exhibition "Letters from Hell", which brings before visitors a deeply human dimension of the experience of political prisoners during the communist regime (1944-1990), a dark period of Albanian history, accompanied by violence and terror in political prisons.
📽️The exhibition is curated by Ergys Mërtiri and Violeta Murati, in collaboration with the Institute for the Crimes and Consequences of Communism.
🔔"Letter from Hell" will remain open until 🗓️06.03.2025 in the lobby of the Faculty of Education.
💡The exhibition offers a deep insight into the souls of political prisoners through letters and documents, reflecting their intellectual and spiritual resistance in the face of the violent regime. It aims to create an introspective atmosphere, inviting visitors to experience the emotions, suffering and hopes of those who experienced the hell of communist prisons. At the center of the exhibition are the words of the prisoners – written testimonies of resistance that surpassed the torture and atrocities of the regime.
