As part of the activities marking the 20th anniversary of the founding of the "Aleksandër Moisiu" University of Durrës, two exhibitions with special cultural and educational values were opened today:
“Copëza Durrësi në Pullat Shqiptare” and “Muzeu Jashtë Muzeut”.
These exhibitions bring to attention the historical and cultural heritage of the city of Durrës, through two unique perspectives:
the representation of the city on Albanian postage stamps over the years,
and a careful selection of artifacts from the collections of the Archaeological Museum of Durrës, brought outside the museum walls to become closer to the public.
This initiative represents a cultural stop where the history, memory, and identity of the city are intertwined in the university spaces, creating a bridge between the academic community and the general public.
"Aleksandër Moisiu" University of Durrës continues to be an important actor in preserving and promoting the city's cultural values, offering students and citizens the opportunity to get to know Durrës' historical roots closely through art and museum exhibitions.
