We are proud to announce another success for the “Aleksandër Moisiu” University of Durrës! Our university’s men’s basketball team has achieved an excellent performance by winning 3rd place in the University Street Basket Championship. This event was organized by the Albanian Federation of University Sports (FSHSU) and took place on December 10, 2024, at the “Asllan Rusi” Sports Palace in Tirana.
This excellent result is a testament to the dedication, passion and hard work of our players, who represented the “Aleksandër Moisiu” University of Durrës with dignity. Throughout the championship, they showed excellent competitive spirit, talent and cooperation, bringing excitement and pride to our entire university community.
We also thank the technical staff and coaches who have contributed to the preparation and guidance of our team towards this important achievement. Their dedication has been essential to the success of the players and to the development of sports activities at our university.
This achievement serves as an inspiration not only for our team, but for all UAMD students who aim to combine their passion for sports with academic achievements. We are convinced that this success is just the beginning of many more to come in the future!
