Prof. Assoc. Dr. Ervin Myftaraj has been a faculty member in the Marketing Department at “Aleksandër Moisiu” University of Durrës since 2008. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Tirana, a Scientific Master’s degree in Marketing and Operations Management, and a PhD in Marketing. His doctoral research examined the synergy between relationship marketing and online marketing in the Albanian banking sector. He was awarded the academic title of Associate Professor in 2016.
From 2016 to 2024, he served as Head of the Marketing Department, overseeing academic and operational management, faculty and student coordination, and strategic institutional initiatives within the Faculty of Business.
Prof. Myftaraj has authored over 60 scientific papers presented and published in national and international journals and conferences, including five indexed in Scopus. His research interests include Marketing Management, Consumer Behavior, Digital Marketing, and Relationship Marketing. He has contributed to academic literature as co-author of university-level textbooks and teaching materials.
He has led several academic and institutional initiatives, including founding the UAMD Marketing Scientific Conference (2017) and the Faculty of Business Student Scientific Conference (2010), coordinating the first annual job fair (2021), contributing to UAMD’s first university-wide scientific conference (2009), and leading the first national high-school outreach campaign (2016). He also coordinated UAMD students’ first participation in an international student project, SIFE Albania (2010).
Since 2008, Prof. Myftaraj has supervised and successfully guided the graduation of hundreds of students at the Bachelor, Scientific Master, Professional Master, and Doctoral levels.
