PROF. AS. DR. EDLIRA ABDURAHMANI is a lecturer and also Head of
Department of Albanian Language at the Faculty of Education at the University "Aleksandër
Moses”, Durres.
She graduated from the University of Tirana, Faculty of History and Philology, where she was awarded the title
"High School Language and Literature Teacher". He also received his degree from this university.
scientific degree "Master in Linguistics" with a specialization in Sociolinguistics and the degree "Doctor" in
Linguistics. At the "Luigj Gurakuqi" University of Shkodra, Faculty of Social Sciences, has received
the title "Associate Professor".
She is a member of the Standing Committee on Academic Standards and Quality.
Studies and research conducted in the field of linguistics belong to the disciplines of
sociolinguistics, history of the Albanian language, ethnolinguistics, Albanian studies, dialectology,
phonetics, onomastics, psycholinguistics, standard Albanian, etc.

During these years, at the Faculty of Education, Durrës, he has carried out didactic activity in
courses: sociolinguistics, advanced sociolinguistics, Albanian studies, history of linguistics, history of
Albanian language, Albanian grammar, academic writing, writing and speech techniques,
psycholinguistics, academic study strategy. This activity is extended to both cycles of

Prof. as. dr. Edlira Abdurahmani is the author of the scientific monograph “Chamirish, where
edges are attacked”, of the textbook “The Essence of Sociolinguistics”. She has also drafted
the lecture series "Introduction to the history of linguistics (General knowledge about the history of
foreign and Albanian linguistics) and "Psycholinguistics"
Prof. As. Edlira Abdurahmani is the author of more than 60 publications in scientific journals.

Prof. As. Dr. Suela Kastrati is a lecturer at the Department of Albanian Language
at the University "Aleksandër Moisiu" in Durrës. For nearly 8 years, she has served as the head of this
department. He completed his higher studies at the Faculty of Social Sciences, University “Luigj
Gurakuqi” Shkodra, where he graduated as a “Language and Literature Teacher” (1990-1994)
University of Tirana (MSc in Linguistics, specialty Morphology), University of Tirana
(Doctorate in Linguistics, specialty Morphology), Title of Prof. as. from the University “Luigj
Gurakuqi” Shkodra. Previously, she held the position of Albanian Language Teacher at the School
"Nikollë Zagorjani" High School in Shkodër. She has also worked at the "Gjergj Kastrioti"
International Library in Cosenza, Italy.
Prof. As. Dr. Suela Kastrati is the author and co-author of several texts and more than 35
publications in scientific journals and regional, national and international conferences
as: "Student's self-evaluation in Albanian language", (2013);About some issues related to the
noun system in the usage of language at official acts of 1925 in Albania" 2015;Issues concerning
literary and linguistics contribuition in the poem‚ The songs of Milosaos“ by Jeronim De Rada
(2014).
Her publications include, among others: Monograph “The verbal system and the level of syntax in
the language of the magazine "HYLLI I DRITĘS" (1921-1930), Co-author of Academic Writing (2017).
Academic Writing Companion (Workbook) (2017).
Co-author of the Albanian Language Teacher's Book, published by Albas Publishing House (2019).

DOC. DR. AIDA KURANI belongs to the founding academic staff of the University of Durrës, which was
opened in September 2006. She teaches at the Department of Albanian Language in the following subjects:
“Syntax of the Albanian language” and “Advanced Teaching of the Albanian language”.
He defended his doctorate in "Linguistics", field of study "Syntax of the Albanian Language" at
University of Tirana, Faculty of History and Philology. 
Aida has also attended a postgraduate specialization course in "Linguistics", at the Scuola di
Specialization, University for Foreigners of Perugia in Italy, with a scholarship funded by
Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. 
She is the author and co-author of a number of articles and monographs in the field of
syntax and teaching of the Albanian language.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aida Kurani has a long and rich experience in the field of teaching.

PROF. AS. DR. HELENA MUKLI GRILLO is a lecturer in the Department of Language.
Albanian at the University “Aleksandër Moisiu”, Durrës. She holds a degree from the University of
Tirana (DND in Albanian Language and Literature), from the University of Tirana (SHPU in Linguistics) and
Cyril and Methodius University, Skopje (Doctorate in Philology). Earns the title of "Associate Professor"
by decision of the Academic Staff Promotion Committee of the University of Tirana.
Previously, she held the position of lecturer at the University of Vlora.
Prof. as. dr. Helena Mukli Grillo is the head of the courses: Introduction to Linguistics, Spelling,
Theoretical linguistics. She is the author and co-author of 3 texts: “The Art of Writing”, “The Language of
Himara", "Guide to Academic Writing" and more than 50 publications in journals
scientific and regional, national and international conferences.
Her publications include, among others: Psycholexical analysis of descriptive adjectives
personality (2017), Toponymy in the perspective of macrostructure and microstructure (2015),
Spelling of special nouns (2015), “Albanian Language and the use of foreign words in
school-age” (2021), “The need for continuous training in the performance of Uviversity
academic staff, after Covid-19” (2022), The impact, importance, types, and use of non-verbal
communication in social (2022)
Prof. as. dr. Helena Mukli Grillo is a participant in editorial committees and boards, in
scientific bulletin, on organizing committees of scientific conferences, as well as reviewers of
textbooks in the selection of winning textbooks, organized by the Ministry of Education and Science.
She is part of the working group on the research projects "Professional Anxiety and Its Impact"
in teaching", "Strengthening the performance of primary education teachers among dilemmas and
post-covid-19 trends" funded by the "Aleksandër Moisiu" University of Durrës, as well as
coordinator of the research project "Language Acquisition - Technology and Mastery of
language competences" funded in 2023-2024. It is also the developer of the modules
and trainer at QEV at the "Aleksandër Moisiu" University in Durrës.

DR. MANOLA KAÇI (MYRTA) is a lecturer at the Department of Albanian Language at
"Aleksandër Moisiu" University, Durrës. He received his doctorate from the University of Tirana in
Linguistics in 2014. He also holds a Master's degree (Master of Science in
Linguistics, 2006) from the University of Tirana, Faculty of History and Philology, as well as a diploma from
Bachelor's degree (Bachelor in Language - Literature, 2000) from the "Aleksandër Xhuvani" University of
Elbasan.
Dr. Manola Kaçi (Myrta) has a long and rich experience in the field of teaching. This
experience is extended to pre-university education, in the first years of teaching, to continue
further in university education. She has been involved as a part-time lecturer at the university
"Aleksandër Xhuvani" of Elbasan immediately after graduation and, since 2008, as a full-time lecturer

DR. GRETA JANI is a lecturer at the Department of Albanian Language at the University of
“Aleksandër Moisiu”, Durrës. She holds a diploma from the University of Tirana (“Teacher of
Language and Literature for High School"), from the University of Tirana (Master in Linguistics)
and the University of Skopje, Macedonia (Doctor of Philological Sciences).
Previously, she held the position of lecturer at the University of Vlora.  
Dr. Jani is the author of several educational and scientific texts: “Petro Marko beyond literature” -
study text; “Text Linguistics”, “Stylistics” – textbooks; “Academic Writing Practices”,
“The Art of Language”, “Albanian Text and Language” – teaching aids.
Dr. Greta Jani is the author of more than 50 publications in scientific journals and conferences.

DR. MANJOLA ZAÇELLARI (LUMANI) is a lecturer at the Department of Albanian Language
at the University “Aleksandër Moisiu”, Durrës. She holds a degree from the University of
of Tirana (Bachelor in Language-Literature), from the University of Tirana (MSh in Linguistics) and the Center
of Albanological Studies (Doctorate in Linguistics).
Previously, she held the position of lecturer at "Luigj Gurakuqi" University, Shkodër.
Dr. Manjola Zaçellari (Lumani) is the author of the monographic study "Reflections on the fields
conceptual framework in Albanian phraseology" and co-author of the university text "Academic Writing"
and more than 25 publications in scientific journals and regional, national and international conferences

DR. NATASHA POROÇANI is a lecturer in the Department of Albanian Language, at the University of
of Durrës "Aleksandër Moisiu". She holds a 4-year Integrated Diploma in Language and Literature
(University of Elbasan), Doctorate in Linguistics-Applied Linguistics, (University of Tirana),
Master of Science in Traditional Literature (University of Tirana).
Dr. Natasha Poroçani has 29 years of experience in the field of teaching, of which 10
years in university education. Currently as a lecturer at UAMD in the Department of Albanian Language,
covers the subjects Pragmalinguistics, History of Albanian Writing, Academic Writing.

There are also several postgraduate qualifications and specializations in the Netherlands. "About the curricula"
vocational schools" and in Poland "On the European Curricula of the Pre-University System".
N. Poroçani is the author of a very large number of references in Conferences
National and International scientific conferences, as well as publications in scientific journals within and
abroad. In her references and publications she has addressed scientific problems related to
the field of pragmalinguistics and the problems of teaching linguistics in textbooks
N. Poroçani is the author of 24 pre-university textbooks approved by
Ministry of Education, including 8 Albanian Language and Literature textbooks for Primary Education
