Biografi

 I am Rudina Mema. I started my higher studies in 2013, at the age of 36, at the University of my hometown, “Aleksandër Moisiu”, Durrës; Faculty of Education, Primary Education branch. I completed my Bachelor studies with high results. In 2017, I enrolled in the Master of Science in Primary Education Teaching program, also at this university. I completed my studies on 08.07.2019, also with high results. I applied twice on the “Good Work” Portal, announced by Prime Minister Rama, as a student of excellence, where I was offered several jobs in the Public Administration. In order to be employed in my teaching profile, I passed the State Exam with a very good result of 92%, grade 9 (nine). Then I competed on the “Teachers for Albania” Portal and was among the first winners. I currently work as a Primary Education teacher at the "Vëllezërit Haradinaj" school, Rrashbull; Durrës.

How have your studies at UAMD helped you in developing your career?

  • The years of study at the “Aleksandër Moisiu” University have left deep traces in my academic formation. However, at the age of 36, I took it upon myself to resume my higher studies once again. With my will and passion, support, cooperation and under the guidance of respected professors, I managed to be a good example for my children to follow. We were three students in the family, me and the two children. My academic success was a good incentive for them. They understood not only that learning knows no age, but also the fact that hard work and sacrifice are rewarded. With desire, passion and will, you can achieve anything, especially if you are guided by serious and dedicated professors. The seminars resembled pleasant conversations and lectures, where the exchange of experiences played the main role. This is also the main reason why I still find it reasonable to develop my professional training at UAMD, the Center for Continuing Education, through modules that are valuable in my profession. I say with full conviction that Piaget's statement: "The main goal of education is to create people who are capable of doing new things, not simply repeating what other generations have done; people who are creative, inventive and discoverer, to form minds that can be critical, that can verify and not accept everything that is given to them", fits my University beautifully!

A message for current students and graduates who are considering continuing their studies at UAMD.

  • As a daughter born and raised in Durrës, I am proud to have come from Him! I am proud and grateful to my former teachers! My effort and sacrifice were worth it! I invite all high school graduates to become part of the great and successful UAMD team! Dear young people, think of UAMD as a large sailing ship, which leads you towards new paths, towards a bright future, towards guaranteed success! Durrës, the ancient city, the city of history welcomes you as every year, not only for the sea, but also for the realization of your dreams!
