Faculty of Information Technology

Biografi

Like alumni of the Faculty of Information Technology, my journey in Computer Science has been a challenging and formative experience. In addition to my dedication to programming and technical studies, community engagement has been a key part of my personal and professional development. I have served as member and president of the student council, supporting the voice of students and building a strong foundation for my organizational and leadership skills. This activism gave me the opportunity to be the third most voted member of the National Youth Council, an achievement that has motivated me to continue contributing to the development of young people. After completing my university studies, I pursued a specializim në Full Stack Development pranë Holberton Albania, which has equipped me with advanced skills in technology. Currently, I am doing an internship in Office of the Minister of State for Youth and Children, combining technological knowledge with projects that support youth development.

How has studying as a UAMD Alumni helped you in developing your career?

  • Studies at the “Aleksandër Moisiu” University of Durrës have been a great boost for my academic and professional development. In addition to a strong technical foundation in Computer Science, UAMD has offered me the opportunity to engage in extracurricular activities that helped me develop practical skills in management, communication and leadership. Being an active part of the university community, I learned the importance of collaboration, flexibility and adaptation to a constantly changing environment. The university has taught me that success does not only come from technical knowledge, but also from the ability to build professional networks, work in a team and be an active contributor to society.

A message for current students and graduates who are considering continuing their studies at UAMD as Alumni.

  • During your academic journey, don’t limit yourself to just technical knowledge. Explore, engage, and seize every opportunity that comes your way. Don’t be afraid to step outside your comfort zone, get involved in student activities, build professional networks, and participate in projects that help you develop new skills. It is these experiences that will shape you and prepare you for the challenges you will face in the future. Invest in yourself, and remember that opportunities often come when you least expect them.
