Upon official invitation from the University of Teramo, in its capacity as an international partner and based on consolidated inter-institutional cooperation relations, the "Aleksandër Moisiu" University of Durrës participated in the solemn opening ceremony of the new academic year.
At this event, which brought together representatives of universities from the Adriatic-Ionian region and beyond, UAMD was represented by Prof. As. Mirela Tase and Dr. Mirela Metushaj, who held meetings with academic partners to further deepen existing cooperation.
During the visit, UAMD representatives also held a meeting with the Rector of the University of Teramo, Prof. Dr. Christian Corsi, where they discussed strengthening institutional relations, expanding strategic partnerships, and concretizing joint initiatives in the academic and research fields.
The discussions focused on:
• initiating joint research projects
• involvement in international programs and calls
• expanding institutional cooperation
Special emphasis was placed on the mobility of students and academic staff, as an essential element for the exchange of experiences and increased scientific interaction.
Also, the importance of regional networks such as UNIADRION was underlined, which serve as sustainable platforms for academic cooperation in the Adriatic-Ionian space.
This participation reconfirms the commitment of the "Aleksandër Moisiu" University of Durrës to internationalization and strengthening strategic partnerships within the European higher education area. 🌐
