
On September 18–19, 2025, Zero C project partners gathered in Hamburg, Germany, to
held the third meeting of the Management Board. The meeting was organized by Technische Universität
Hamburg (TUHH) and included important discussions on the progress of the
project, challenges in implementation and planning of next steps. Achievements in the
all work packages:
● WP1: Project Management and Quality Assurance (UAMD) – the challenges of
implementation and management of activities.
● WP2: Development and implementation of skills-oriented curricula (UV, UAMD,
UoM) – reported on the finalization of the process of adapting and reviewing materials
teaching methods, which after accreditation will begin to be implemented in university programs

● WP3: Staff training and installation of new equipment (NTUA) – discussed to strengthen
capacities through practical and laboratory training.
● WP4: Impact and dissemination (ITS Logistica Puglia) – the results of the

In addition to academic and managerial discussions, participants had the opportunity to visit

of Memoranda of Understanding.
Zero C MBM Agenda
The Zero C project aims to support the strengthening of the capacities of higher education institutions
maritime in the Western Balkans. It aims to create the necessary conditions to prepare
young professionals who will be able to face the challenges of decarbonization, transition
energy efficiency and logistics optimization, as well as to implement the requirements of the IMO and the Union
European in the maritime transport sector.
