Admission rules
In the competition for the Governor's Award for Best Diploma for 2025, you can
Every Albanian student graduating during the period October 2024 - October 2025, will participate in one of the
monetary and international economic issues, financial stability, integration issues
economic situation of the Balkan countries in Europe, monetary policy and macroprudential policies of
Bank of Albania, fiscal policy and its role in the economy, the Albanian banking system, the behavior of
individuals and firms in Albania, as well as aspects of the economy in general.
Topics must be written in Albanian or English.
The deadline for submitting topics is the date October 31, 2025.
Students who wish to apply for the Award must submit in writing
electronic 1 (pdf) to the e-mail address public@bankofalbania.org, the following documents:
1. A letter expressing the student's interest in competing for the Prize in question.
2. Curriculum Vitae;
3. Abstract and a brief summary of the main findings;
4. Name of the thesis supervisor and the relevant university/faculty;
5. Full version of the diploma thesis
The submitted topic must meet the criteria of a scientific paper.
It can be in the form of a bachelor's degree topic, a postgraduate degree (master's) or in the form of a doctoral thesis (PhD).
Previous award winners and current or former employees of the
Bank of Albania, are excluded from any participation in this activity.
The Paper/Topic Evaluation Committee selects the winning topics.
If one of the committee members is also the leader of a competitive topic, this member cannot vote on this topic.
The Evaluation Committee decides with understanding on the candidates proposed for
Price. The decision of the Governor of the Bank of Albania is decisive.
The phase of viewing the works (topics), above all, will evaluate their quality, originality and
main results or findings.
If the topic has won another award or has been submitted to compete for other awards
other, then these facts must be written in the application. Also, participants must notify the Evaluation Committee of the Bank of Albania if there are passages in their topics, which are
previously published.
If the Evaluation Committee concludes that none of the submitted works meet the
meets the criteria to win the Prize, then the Committee may propose that no prize be awarded.

The Bank of Albania is not obliged to publish the winning topics., in full or partial form
reduced.
The Bank of Albania reserves the right to invite the award winners to present
their work; award winners must make presentations free of charge. The Bank of Albania has
the right to publish press releases regarding the award distribution.
By submitting entries, participants must accept the aforementioned terms and conditions.
The awarding of prizes does not entail any other obligations for the Bank of Albania.
