Biografi

I am Anisa Aliu, born in Durrës, where I graduated from the “Olsi Lasko” high school. In 2003, I decided to pursue higher studies in law at the “Università Cattolica” in Milan. I then returned to my hometown, where I pursued a Master of Science in “Private Law” at the “Aleksandër Moisiu” University. I successfully completed this journey, with a diploma thesis on bankruptcy law, in a comparative perspective between the Albanian and Italian systems, under the guidance of Prof. As. Dr. Andon Kume.

In October 2023, I graduated from Law School and today I practice my profession as a lawyer with dedication, specializing in private law, human rights, and immigration issues.

How have your studies at UAMD helped you in developing your career?

  • Studies at UAMD helped me update my national legal knowledge and deepen my skills in private law, preparing me for any professional role in the field of justice. The contemporary approach and cooperation with internationally trained lecturers gave me a strong foundation, both theoretical and practical. I am grateful for the valuable influence of Prof. Andon Kume, Prof. Linert Lirëza, Prof. Eriona Katro, Prof. Ersida Teliti, Prof. Bruna Kullolli and all the academic staff, who create strong bridges between studies and career.

A message for current students and graduates who are considering continuing their studies at UAMD.

  • For current students and graduates who are considering studying at UAMD, I would like to encourage them to choose a university that offers more than theoretical knowledge. UAMD is a dynamic institution, with a modern environment and dedicated academic staff, that prepares students for the real challenges of the job market. In particular, it offers not only a quality education, but also an environment that encourages active participation in new projects, scientific research and international collaborations.
