Today, the Rector of UAMD, Prof. Dr. Shkëlqim Fortuzi received H.E. Mr. Tayyar Kağan Atay, Ambassador of Turkey to our country.
During the extremely friendly and cordial meeting, Rector Fortuzi expressed his deep gratitude to Ambassador Atay, not only for his visit, but also for the fruitful cooperation that UAMD has with 14 important universities in Turkey and emphasized the importance of deepening joint engagement in scientific research projects, conferences and publications, academic staff and student exchanges, as well as creating opportunities for student internships and employment of UAMD graduates in Turkish companies in Albania.
Ambassador Atay assured the Rector of strengthening academic cooperation between UAMD and Turkish universities, establishing links with other universities in Turkey and engaging Musaid Albania in the job fair organized by UAMD annually. Musaid is an international organization with over 14,200 members, 63,000 businesses and over 2 million employees worldwide with a strong impact on the business sphere and the cooperation on student internships with UAMD would serve the professional preparation of students and future experts.
