I am Ariela Hushi. Since I was little, foreign languages have always been one of my greatest passions. I have successfully completed my bachelor's degree at the Faculty of German-English Education at UAMD. I currently work in a private school in the city of Durrës as a German language teacher as well as in several course centers.
How have your studies at UAMD helped you in developing your career?
During these years I have been fortunate to attend various trainings with German companies such as Hueber but without forgetting the trainings that UAMD has in relation to my branch. The communication that the academic staff has with the students is one of the strengths of UAMD. I remember that when I started this study program I was not at all sure of myself but with the help of the academic staff who are always supportive and understanding towards the student I began to gain even more self-confidence and participate in the various activities that the university organizes. UAMD has always reiterated that its doors will always remain open for us and for this I want to express my gratitude as your guidance has been invaluable to me, shaping not only my academic path, but also my personal growth. Thank you for believing and still believing in me and helping me overcome the challenges along the way.
A message for current students and graduates who are considering continuing their studies at UAMD.
If I were asked if I would make the same choice again, I would say yes, and for you young students who have not yet found your path, I recommend choosing Aleksander Moisiu University in Durrës for its quality education and experienced faculty, which provide a solid foundation in various fields. The university offers a vibrant community and numerous recreational opportunities. The emphasis it places on international cooperation increases global exposure, while affordable tuition makes it an attractive option for many people. Overall, UAMD combines academic excellence with a supportive environment, making it an excellent choice for higher education because as Mark Van Doren said, "The art of teaching is the art of facilitating discovery."
